Struggling with wedding floral colours? 👀
We don’t want you to overthink it too much, go with what you love, but if you’re stuck and need guidance you can consider these elements when choosing floral colours!
Mood - consider the overall mood of your day. If your wedding vibe is dramatic go with darker hues, if your wedding is more relaxed and fun maybe consider brighter pastel palettes.
Season - getting married in the spring doesn’t mean you have to choose a bright colour scheme but if you are looking to convey the time of year you’re getting married in your photos, than maybe consider adding a pop of colour. There’s also different florals only available in certain seasons so double check with your florists.
Balance - consider how your florals compliment each other. Throwing a variety of colours together may become too strong of a colour palette. We recommend taking different shades and tones from one or two colour groups.
Flow - do the florals flow with the rest of your decor/overall theme of the day? You want to ensure all the florals and decor colours run cohesive with one another.
Venue - does your venue already incorporate a certain colour palette? If it does you may want to consider trying to compliment colours that already exist within the venue versus clashing with it.
Hope this helps elevate a little stress in your planning journey! Happy Friday 💐
