Please join us for a viewing party on the National Remembrance of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act:

- June 23rd (Friday) from 3:00 – 6:00 PM
- at the Fredericton Cultural Centre, 28 Saunders Street
- Refreshments (Chinese Zong Zi & Samosas) will be available

This event is an opportunity to recognize the longstanding relationship between Chinese Canadians and Indigenous Peoples in Canada, to enhance a sense of pride and belonging, and to act against racism.

The event is cohosted by the Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick and Asian Heritage Society of New Brunswick. It will be livestreamed from the Senate Chamber in Ottawa. Chinese New Year Gala – “Melodies from the Past” – January 29, 2023, 7:00pm, at the Fredericton Playhouse!

Come join the Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick in celebrating the 2023 Chinese New Year on January 29 (Sunday), 2023 @ 7:00 pm at the Fredericton Playhouse.

Titled “Melodies from the past”, this gala celebration features Chinese traditional style dancing with modern music to tell love stories. It includes an ancient costume fashion show and classic folk music.

Regular: $25 – Child: $15
Member: $15 – Child: $10
Group of 10 or more: $20

Member tickets & group tickets will be on sale ONLY on January 15, 2023 (Sunday) & January 22 (Sunday), 2023, 12:00 – 3:00 pm, at CCANB Chinese School (Margaret Norrie McCain Hall, St. Thomas University). Individual members can purchase two member tickets. Individual family members can purchase four member tickets. Payment in cash or cheques only.

The CCANB Chinese New Year gala is a grand and must-see event in our community. Tickets are hard to come by. Please purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment!

It is Asian Heritage Month in Canada! Help us celebrate 20 years of the Asian Heritage Society in New Brunswick with workshops on Henna and self-portraits on May 14th and 21st from 1-4 P.M respectively at the Cultural Center on 28 Saunders Street.

All 20 years of the AHSNB’s journey will be on display on Wednesday May 18th from 12-1 at the Cultural Center on 28 Saunders Street. Cake and refreshments will be served.

Sunday, May 29th, from 3-5 at the Bernard Poirier Theater at Ecole Saint Anne Asian cultural groups will take the stage and celebrate their culture through song and dance.

All events are Free!
