The weather that day was a horror for a florist - the sun, heat and the strong wind at the same time is what kills flowers in minutes. Moreover, once we finished half of the set-up, we got a storm alert. Of course, we had to move everything out of the ceremony zone and set everything back after. The sun and the wind together could make the flowers wilt in minutes so we had to water them every few minutes. The vases we rented were handmade so everyone was afraid they wouldn’t hold water. However, as the vessels were empty, the wind flipped them over and over that broke some of the arrangements we made. All in all we decided to fill the vases with water, tested them and attached to the pillars to secure them tightly and be sure they would not make any surprises during the ceremony - it’s better safe than sorry in everything that can make any unwanted surprise during the couple’s celebration.

Floral design can look very easy and glamorous but that is not because it really is but because we, florists, show only the outer part of the job we make. You never know what can happen during the setup so our cars are always full of the extra things we don’t need at all
during the day. We always take them with us just in case something goes not according to the
plan.

Couples often underestimate cakes. They seem to be just a main dessert but in reality they are more than that. Your guests look at them much more often than they look at your dessert table. They also make an amazing photo backdrop for you as a couple when you cut it in the evening.

Here’re my favourite ideas on how you can highlight your cake with florals:
1. a cake meadow around the cake: this option is perfect if you are going to move the cake table around the reception room.
2. a cake meadow cascading from the cake table - the option will look very unique but it must be set up before the celebration begins.
3. a cake meadow on the floor around the table. This option will work well if your table isn’t moved around. It can be a very cost-effective option if your ceremony zone allows flower repurposing🌸 In this case, flowers you used at the ceremony can be beautifully repurposed to the cake area that will make the cake look luxurious and won’t blow your budget.
4. a cake meadow around the cake and on the floor will be a truly luxurious piece. A meadow on the table must be placed before the wedding while the floor arrangement can be repurposed after the ceremony if design allows. The arrangement will be eye-catching and truly exquisite.

Hi beautiful people over here!

I want to thank all of you for all the support you showed our small family business and me personally during these years.
We wouldn’t make it if you didn’t choose us!

It became hard for me to accommodate every day deliveries, wedding preparations, two kids and my part-time job so I had to define my top priorities. Even though it is a difficult decision, I am closing our every day deliveries. We are completely shifting to wedding and event design and will be happy to make your celebrations look classy. I will still do big floral holidays like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.
This year’s Valentine’s Day collection will be open within a few days.

We will also participate in event organized in collaboration with EQ3 where you can get our bouquets🌸🌷
