BIOGRAPHY (English version)
Entertaining high-energy saxophone-led production of top Rock, Pop & Disco HITS, across six decades, delivering an exciting full-band-like experience.

Following a rewarding career in engineering, I (Stephan Pelletier) came back to my teenage love for playing music instruments (flute, saxophone, clarinet, classical guitar) and, since 2012, seriously focused on the most sexy music instrument đ, the sax. I played as part of multiple local bands, as well as a well-acclaimed Foreigner tribute Canadian band (active since 2020).
As of fall 2023, I developed a new saxophone-led cover project (sax in lieu of vocals), called SaxoDance, for entertaining parties and events, which has been highly successful starting from my 7-weeks stay (Jan/Feb 2024) in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, where I played 10 gigs at beach restaurants and resort.

From childhood, I was always passionate about music and especially ADORED those â80s epic saxophone solos. In recent years, I discovered that popular songs played by a saxophone got people really energized and entertained, and this inspired me greatly!
I got first highly influenced by saxophonist Candy Dulfer with her famous âLily Was Hereâ sax & guitar duo with Eurythmicsâ Dave Stewart (my version https://shorturl.at/39KiB). Then, I discovered an amazing Italian saxophone solo artist, Danielle Vitale, who gets crowds moving and dancing across the world with popular covers (https://shorturl.at/nel4N), and who is the greatest inspiration for SaxoDance!
Above and beyond, I paired my engineering abilities to my saxophone playing by programming real-time harmony effects management, with a combination of technologies, so I could play multiple voices at the same time. This engineered production effectively delivers a UNIQUE real-time MULTI-SAX performance, and gets people to experience an authentic and exciting rendition of popular covers they all know, albeit sax-based instead of vocals. They just love it!
I aim to get people off their feet and onto the dance floor! With more than 4 hours of current SaxoDance repertoire (and growing), I can do just that and I enjoy it very much! đ·đ
