Here are some words of wisdom from Karen Graves regarding a fabulous show this Saturday , August 3rd at 6:30 yes 6:30pm!
The Karen and Budge Quartet will be playing at Wine Garden Park, and some good friends are coming in from Vancouver to play with us.
We will be playing a mix of groovy tunes, breezy summer sambas and swing....I shall be dancing on stage and off, no doubt!
The band is:
Karen, saxes etc and vocals;
Budge on guitar;
Al Johnston on bass... and born and bred Sunshine Coaster Kristian Braathen on Drums.

This Saturday, September 2nd , Winegarden Park at 6:30 we wind up Music in the Landing’s final evening show with Brothers in Farms! Over the last ten years, they have made five full length records and have over 100 shows under their belts, both on and off coast. From small islands, to local bars, beer farms and full on festivals, the Brothers always show up ready to have fun. The five piece doles out a non-stop high energy mix of roots, pop, reggae, folk, balkan, latin and funk with a solid rhythmic backdrop and an engaging stage presence. Totally infectious, non-pretentious, rambunctious west-coast party music!

Comprised of singer Baili Clarke, drummer Cayce Laviolette, guitarist Dan Richter, bassist Jenny Groves and songwriter, mandolin player Simon Hocking, The Empty Streets have travelled long roads to share their sweet, dark sounds.
