FLIP Entertainment is locally owned and operated by founder Franklin Matias. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Franklin has built a unique sound company based on his intimate knowledge of the area, coupled with his passion for providing the best service in Grande Prairie and Western Canada. FLIP Entertainment’s success is also due

to the dedication of its team. Each member brings something to the table. Our common goal is to leave each event with a memorable stamp with our clients feeling good, all smiles and high fives. Together they have tackled Grande Prairie’s sound scene with their high priority on customer care, and an array of easy-to-access services. FLIP Entertainment features one of the top-rated DJ services in the area and offers a full range of rental capabilities - from a single mic for a grand opening to event lighting, live streaming, photo booth rentals, and everything in between. Formed in 2008, FLIP Entertainment has not only hosted some of the top acts in the country, but has performed at local premier events such as the 2019 Canadian Fastball Championship, the 2018 Alberta Summer Games, the 2015 Special Olympics, G.P Stompede, Art Battle, STARS Hanger Dance, and hosting annual 3 on 3 FLIP IT UP Tournament. They have provided AV and sound support to numerous other private, charitable and corporate events. FLIP Entertainment prides itself on its high standard for events and a customer-focused approach. FLIP Entertainment is more than your average entertainment company. MEET YOUR DJ

Hello to all my past and future clients!
Let me introduce you to the man behind the decks:

I'm Ryan (AKA, DJ T-bow) - I've been a DJ in the Peace Region for nearly 7 years now, and have loved every second of it! I exclusively DJ for FLIP Entertainment, one of the longest running and most successful Multi-Ops in Grande Prairie.

I am born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and have deep roots in the surrounding communities. I have a passion for people, and creating new experiences for myself and others.

Music plays a huge role in my life, and I like to consider myself somewhat of an expert.
I dreamed of being a radio DJ at an early age - spending hours recording songs from the radio onto blank tape cassettes, and doing voice-overs with my tiny microphone.

I began performing in a professional choir when I was 10 years old, and I immediately began learning the value that music plays in creating a fun, positive, and welcoming environment.

I took those lessons with me into the DJ industry, quickly cultivating a happy and energetic vibe that reflects my DJ style. My favorite compliment I receive from clients and guests is: "We had so much fun!!!"

From Pop and Dance, to Country and Hip-hop, and all in between; I listen to EVERYTHING, and I play ANYTHING.

I can't wait to bring the FUN to your next event! Whatever the occasion calls for, I bring the energy to it 🔋
