A quick thank you for the past year,

Thank you all for the support these last few weeks. This was such a wonderful flower filled year and it couldn’t have been possible without the trust and support from all my amazing clients,friends and of course my family. However you showed your support, liking, sharing, buying, booking it doesn’t go unnoticed. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has to offer in the flower world. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and last but certainly not least Happy New year!

When I heard that we were likely going to be saying goodbye to our dahlia friends in the coming days (due to the colder weather coming) I knew I had to get my hands on a few more before their season comes to an end. It’s so bittersweet this time of year, while I’m extremely sad I won’t be able to get locally grown product like these dahlias until next year it makes me all the more grateful for the short time of year I do get to enjoy and share with you all some of mother natures finest things.

♥️Introduction time♥️

Hello flower friends! It’s been a while and I thought I’d reintroduce myself for those who are new to my account.

My names Katelyn, I was raised in Sudbury, Ontario in the small community of Azilda. After completing High School at Lasalle Secondary and trying my hand at Electrical Engineering and quickly realized I couldn’t work simply to make money I had to truly enjoy my job for me to be able to get up and do the same thing everyday. I started a part time job at a local flower shop and fell in love with floristry. I made my way to a few other shops before deciding that working for myself was the only option. Planning and organizing weddings/wedding florals is truly something I adore doing. Working with my clients to create their dream florals is so rewarding and each clients unique needs mean that rarely do I do the same thing twice! I love researching the latest trends and trying new techniques, there’s always something to be learned. This is now my 2nd wedding season and 3rd year in floristry.

Outside of work I spend a lot of my time with my cat Teddy watching reality tv or reading true crime novels. I love all kinds of music especially country. I also have an amazing partner who I’ve been lucky enough to spend 4 and a half years, when we aren’t doing weddings together you can find us on a boat or sea doo! Another thing you should know about me is I’m a major foodie, I love going to restaurants or cooking a new recipe. Food is one of my love languages lol
