Come on in and sit awhile and place a few pieces in our puzzles.

These will be out for the summer months only while there is less activity.

Good News!
The new floor is installed and looking great. Many thanks to Larry R for all the organizing and work he put towards it and everyone who helped out - chairs and tables to move, quarter round to come off and so on. Then to clean the tables and chairs and install felt pads on the legs before putting them back. . 👏

Please respect the floor and if it's a wet day and of course in the winter months please remove your outdoor shoes and bring along some inside footwear.

Hi there, all you "Happy Seniors," Just letting you know that the Purdys are away for a few days.
Here I am again. My message is from the group "Senior Fit with Ann Roy." Ann's group has decided to continue exercise /fitness and all that they do. Just once a week over the summer break.
NOTE: The day will be Wednesday, starting June 25, 2025. and since no time is mentioned, I would assume the time is the same, 10 am
The group will return to regular exercise days on Monday and Friday in September. Have a wonderful Summer and come out to exercise on Wednesday. call Ann 705- 562-4229

The Club Summer B.B.Q was a smash Yesterday. The Onaping Falls Golden Age Club Hosts outdid themselves, even the weatherman cooperated and produced a beautiful day. There was Super Dave and his lovely wife Joanne providing Karaoke Music, Lawrence (L.T) and his crew of helpers, attending to the patio, and the B.B.Q area. Jenny M., & Beverly R. Manning, the Kitchen, Sue S. & Julie working the Bar, The Coordinator of this motley crew was our director of activities, Sharon. L.
Now an event like this would not be a success unless there are Karaoke singers. "And there was" Rockin' Roger, who was a headliner (Someone told me that Roger recently was taking singing lessons, Hmmmmm? ). On one song, President Jim joined Rockin' Roger. Then there was the Famous pair, Terri and Steve.,
Sharon and Wendy were singing harmony, like never heard before, on a few songs. Nicole entertained in French. but not to be outdone by L.T., who also gave his own rendition of a French ballad.
I'm just naming a few. Honestly, it was a lot of fun.
I won the door prize. I'm happy, but the little hummingbirds are happier. It didn't take long for them to find the flower pot after we hung it near the garage. It's so nice to watch the little birds.
Now the Club is operating on the Summer schedule till September.
I didn't take any pictures at this event, so if you did and you wish to share, please send your pictures and anything that you wish to share to Sue or Ron Purdy. We really missed Sue and Ron, they were not able to attend, I'm filling in lol!.

There was a nice attendance at the presentation by Alzheimer's today about Dementia and Communication. Great information about progression, different types of diagnosis and help available. Idea to help keep your mind healthy by staying active, socializing, doing activities that make you use your brain. Like puzzles, word games, playing online games, playing cards, etc.
