What a great weekend that was for a winter carnival. I can remember when it was so cold that your eyelashes frosted. lol !
We are now on to February 3,2025 and the weatherman says February will be cold, no matter what a little critter says.
Monday February 3, Ann and friends will be hosting Senior easy Chair exercises. Starting at 10:am in the upper lounge.
I am so impressed with the number of ladies who attend these exercise classes Monday and Friday each week. It's wonderful "Thanks Ann"
1:pm There will be Crib players in the upper lounge
1:pm There will be Men's POOL in the lower lounge
All activities are free to members

Friday, January 31, 2025 What's on at the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club. "Not a lot," everyone will be at the Onaping Falls Winter Carnival, this weekend. One thing that interests me is the Vintage Snowmobile Show. OH, and the pancake Breakfast.
Back at the G.A. Club.
Ann and the Chair exercise group will be at the club, at 10:am Friday morning, come and join the group, Free to members.
This weekend you might catch up with Sharon to purchase a ticket for the Chinese New Year Dinner, Sharon has a very few left. Only $25.00 for the dinner and an evening of dancing and socializing with friends. 705-677-4585

1:pm in the Lower lounge there is Men's POOL. All Members are welcome.

2:pm there will be a regular monthly meeting for members of the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club. In the Upper Lounge

If you didn't get your Chinese New New Dinner Ticket, Check with Sharon at the meeting to see if there are any left. Tickets are $25.00 each.

Wednesday January 29, 2025. Lois and Friends will be serving up "Hot Soup" sandwiches and other good stuff for only $5.00 Members Join Lois and friends at the Club for Lunch between 11:am and 12:30 noonish.

1:pm you are invited to join the Euchre group for a couple hours of playing Euchre.

3:pm The Ukulele group will be making music. Please feel free to join this group. Beginners welcome. This activity is free to members. Non-members are asked to pay $4.00 for each lesson.
Ukulele instruments are free to members. Non-members are asked to provide their own Ukulele. (However, I have an extra one I will give to anyone who wants it "FREE")

Note: Thursday at 2:pm there is a Regular Member Club meeting in the upper lounge.

Tomorrow Thursday, January 16, Will Start the day at 9:30 am with Crafts. Join Wendy and friends in making quilts, Sewing anything. (I plan to hem a couple pairs of slacks tomorrow) Try beadwork and many other projects. "Bring your lunch and come at whatever time that you get ready"
At 1:pm the Guys will be playing pool in the lower lounge

LOOKING AHEAD: Friday, January 17, 2025. is Music Jam Day. This afternoon of Music starts at 1:pm and is open to any musician wishing to join the group. Beginners are welcome, or maybe you played an instrument years ago and didn't keep it up. Now is the time to get back into the fun of playing a musical instrument. This group is free to members and there is a $4.00 charge for non-members. Members may come and listen, bring a cookie, relax and listen while you enjoy a cup of tea. Info. call Jim 705-919-0137
