My name is Livi Shaw and I am a Toronto and Niagara based wedding photographer. I fell in love with photographing weddings immediately after I graduated from Sheridan College’s photography program. I’m a hopeless romantic and being able to experience the love of the couples I work with makes getting up and going to work in the morning the easiest thing in the world. I truly love my job and work ha

rd to make sure every one of my couples goes home thrilled with the images of their special day. I strive to to provide not only lovely, romantic photographs but also to ensure a very comfortable and stress-free working relationship. Your wedding is one of the most memorable moments of your life and finding a photographer that can not only produce pictures that melt your heart, but is also easy to work with is very important. I focus on a candid, photojournalistic approach that is not invasive, and captures all of the tiny details and honest moments. I particularly specialize in DIY and vintage-inspired weddings. I want the photos to represent you and I love capturing the uniqueness of my couples. I hope to get the chance to work with you!

It has been an absolute honour to photograph this lovely family’s life chapters! From engagement to wedding, first pregnancy, their son’s first birthday and now their second pregnancy, I’ve been lucky to witness it all! :) Cannot wait to meet their newest family member!

I absolutely love mini sessions! They are the perfect session for annual family photo updates or to capture a special moment in time! This poor little girl has no idea that she was born to two photographers and there are going to be a zillion pictures taken over her lifetime.

I managed to take 15 minutes to snap a few photos of our girl before having to rush back inside and start the routine of feeding her, changing her, getting her down, and then trying to get a few minutes of shut eye myself 💕 More to come!

I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful friend Natalie to celebrate her little one that will hopefully be joining us very soon! I want to shout out for their wonderful prenatal yoga class where I met not only Natalie but many other lovely moms to be! It has been such a supportive and positive community!

Since becoming pregnant, I’ve grown even more excited about photographing expecting mothers. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but it also brings major changes that can feel a little overwhelming. From my own maternity shoot experience, I know how meaningful these photos can be—not just as a way to capture a special moment between me and my child, but also as a reflection of a deeply personal transition. I cherish them because they represent growth, strength, perseverance, and immense love—not only for my little one but also for my body, which continues to grow and protect her.

I still have a little time before my maternity leave if anyone wants to book a session! Otherwise I am thrilled to work with more moms to be when I return! :)
