"Informants" narrows their agenda down into two categories: Worship & Mission. Drawing from a close knit of friends with musical influences from multiple genres, Informants believes that art expressed through lyric, song and story can give rise to a divine atmosphere where people can seek the very presence of God. You're only as good as your sound man! That's why the Come Alive Gospel Music Fest hired Russ Eggleston with Sound in Town.They are located in Fort St. John, BC and have been providing full production services for events for over 15 years. Russ has been Come Alive's sound man since it's inception in 2017. The Crimson River Band first met Russ at an event we were singing at near Chetwynd BC. Russ's friendly smile and great work ethic made our decision easy as we were then looking for a sound man for the first year of the Come Alive Gospel Music Fest. Russ has become one of our bands dearest friends and we are so blessed to know that our festival's sound will be impeccable and is in good hands. If you plan on attending this year's event, give Russ and the sound tech stage team a big round of applause because they will be the hardest working people of the entire weekend!

There's never a dull moment when Len Ruether is around!
A natural comedian he is and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Len will be joining Emily and Tim on the Come Alive Gospel Music Fest stage this coming August. Here are a few words from Len.. I was born and raised in the Peace Country, left home at a young age to become an oilfield gypsy throughout western Canada. A career he has enjoyed for over 30 years. Len met the love of his life the old-fashioned way, He and Char have been married for 28 years. They have raised 2 wonderful girls, Sydney, and Kate, in their home in Peace River. Though the girls have left, Peace River remains home. When not working Len can talk all day about his hobbies, Travel, Motorcycling, BB-Q and is always searching for that perfect cup of coffee. Len and Char are members of the Peace River Alliance Church. We welcome you to this event and we hope you have a wonderful experience.

Hi, my name is Emily Marshall! Many people call me Dr. Emily because of first meeting me at our clinic, Valley Chiropractic in Peace River, AB that my husband, Dr. Jon Marshall, and I own together. We have been married since 2010, moved to Peace River from Ontario in 2016, and now have 4 kids. We are members of Peace River Alliance Church and we are thankful to have made the peace country our home. I committed my life to Jesus Christ when I was 5 years old and it’s only by the grace of God that I am where I am in life today. God has been faithful through all the transitions: traveling to various places in the world as a team Canada gymnast in university, working as an associate Chiropractor in Toronto for 3 years after my doctorate, co-operating our Peace River clinic between having babies and homeschooling, and, in 2021, transitioning to working from home as an online entrepreneur, coaching women in business, speaking at business events, and hosting the Fresh & Fired Up Podcast. All I can say is, God is good! Now, I am delighted to be an emcee at Come Alive 2023. See you there!

Tim Klein will be one of our MC's for this year's Come Alive Gospel Music Fest. Tim is one of the funniest, talented, kindest cowboys I know and wherever Tim is there is always laughter. Currently, he has his own business called TK Leatherworks- custom leather tack and repairs.
He along with Len Ruether and Emily Marshall will be filling up the moments in between our bands as they set up.
Who knows...Tim may ask you this question...How many of you have had a birthday in the past two years?

Sunday morning's at Come Alive are very special. This year our guest speaker is Kevin Quist. Kevin has a special way of drawing you closer to the Father. The Holy Spirit moves as he speaks and he often weaves some of his own life's wisdom from his personal walk with God into his messages. Kevin has lived in Northern Alberta most of his life, presently in the community of Teepee Creek. Together with wife Barbara, they raise registered Angus cattle and are involved in ministry with the Fellowship of Christian Cowboys. Along with ministering in music, Kevin preaches the Word at Cowboy Church services, rodeos, ropings, jamborees and occasionally as a visitor at other churches.
Join us August 27 as Kevin leads us all closer to the feet of Jesus!

Come Alive Gospel Music Fest is excited to welcome Trevor Toews to our line-up of amazing bands this year! Here's a few words from Trevor... Warmest greetings to one and all! I was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and was raised in various locations through-out Manitoba. Presently, I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I love to sing about God's love and truths as found in the Bible, and the life-changing events that have occurred in my life over the year's as Father God has touched me and made Himself real to me. A number of my songs and albums have been nominated for various awards since I began this journey; some of them being from the Country Gospel Music Association of Canada. It is my hope and prayer that you will be drawn into a real and intimate relationship with Father God as you listen to these songs. May the good Lord continue to bless and guide you and yours.

If you're looking for family harmony, The Harder Family has it all! Whether it's vocally or through their daily lives, the fragrance of Christ surrounds them on and off the stage.
The Harder Family is a third-generation group of family harmonies in gospel music. From a small hobby farm in Peace River, Alberta, Reuben and Cindy and their eight children spend several weekends each summer at various gospel music festivals in Alberta and BC.
It is their desire that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be clearly understood through their songs and spoken word, that audiences would be uplifted and encouraged, and that God would be glorified through it!

Peace Praise Collective is a group of Believers in Jesus Christ from the Peace River and Nampa area that have come together with the purpose of bringing authentic praise to God. Worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth is the main focus, while proclaiming the good news of Jesus to those around is second! The diverse backgrounds and solid friendships make this group a joy to have around, and their prayer is that God will use them however He wants for His glory.

This year, Swan City Collective from Grande Prairie will be setting the Come Alive stage on fire as they share their hearts with the youth from around the Peace Country. Their fearless leader Garth Vion who never backs down from the Spirits call, is always willing to step back and give full control to God at any given moment. You won't want to miss this dynamic team as they come together to set hearts free in worship!

The Worship Union...From their roots of playing worship music together in church to releasing an album, an EP, and a handful of singles, this married duo has been making music together since junior high school. After spending a decade performing in the secular sphere as "Midnight Lights", Jason and Katie are devoting themselves to leading God's people in worship as The Worship Union. It is their greatest joy to weave together faith and music - writing everything from heartfelt hymns to modern worship anthems. We look forward to welcoming Jason and Katie back to the Come Alive stage this coming August!

There is never a dull moment with the Berreth Family! Bringing a horse to church is the norm for them and the horse comes right into the building! Come Alive Gospel Music Fest is delighted to welcome Robin, Maria, Julia and Grace to our stage once again! Country/bluegrass music is their specialty and Robin is no stranger to the stage as she grew up playing music with the Kevin Quist Family, and is now dedicated to passing the torch to her children, making them sixth generation gospel musicians. The Berreth's enjoy the journey of singing and playing together and are honoured to be able to share their music.

Road to Surrender will be gracing the Come Alive Gospel Fest stage this coming August 26 & 27. Bill and Lynn Janzen, their son Taylor, along with their three daughters Jamee, Jayda and Erin are a family band from Webster Alberta. Their focus is to sing and play for God's glory, encourage fellow believers, and to spread the good news of the gospel through words and music. Their prayer in each performance is that those listening will be drawn to Christ and give Him all the glory!

Come Alive Gospel Music Fest is pleased to have John and Jane Okemow as one of our featured artists this year! Join us August 26th as John Okemow shares his life story. John's words...John Okemow of Chipewyan Lake AB. Born in Fort McKay AB. Mother died one month after my birth. My Dad committed su***de when I was 13 years of age. God healed me from stuttering when I was 12 years old. In 1986 I attended Flight School and got my private License to fly. In 1990 I joined the Police Force. On June 12, 2000 I resigned and entered into full time ministry and travelled most of Canada. Preaching the Gospel to All Nation!

So what's the glue that holds this band together? God and Connie! As the only gal in the band, sometimes it feels like I'm herding cat's wearing cowboy hats! I love these guys..especially my husband the percussionist!
Crimson River Band has walked many roads together over the past eleven years. God has shown us what true friendship really means. With Gods grace and love we have lifted each other up during the hard times and have rejoiced with Him during times of celebration. My Heavenly Father has trusted me with His words. Like water they spill out filling empty pages to reveal His beauty. I am humbled and so blessed to be called His child! Like a beautifully woven garment, the talents of these amazing men come together as one. The musicianship and vocal abilities of this group that I am so proud to be part of, often takes my breath away. In 2019, we released "Persevere" and were so pleased that it was nominated for a GMA Canada Covenant award in the category of Gospel Album of the Year! Currently we are working on songs for our next album "Truth Is". As we grow nearer to seeing our Heavenly Father, the words of these songs reflect the importance of thinking about where you will spend eternity and the importance of sharing Christ with others. We look forward to visiting with you at this year's Come Alive Gospel Music Fest in August!

Come Alive Gospel Music Fest is delighted to welcome Up and coming Christian artist Quinn Throness to our line up this year!
A few words from Quinn... Hey! My name is Quinn Throness, and I am an 18 year old Christian singer/songwriter. I live on a farm in the LaGlace area, where my family hosts the LaGlace Youth Group. Growing up in a family heavily involved in ministry helped to make me see the importance of giving God not just our Sundays, but your whole life. I chose to write Christian music in Junior High because I started putting Gods word in my life daily, and realized how much I needed a Saviour. Jesus saved me, and I want to use my gifts to show others his great love. I have released two songs on all platforms - "In the End" and "The Doors" - and I hope to release many more!

Jeff Catto is our headliner for this year's Come Alive Gospel Music Fest! Jeff is a 2x award winner 2022 for CGMA Country Artist and Country song of the year. 3x nominated CGMA Artist for best new artist, Country Artist and country song of the year. 3 singles across Canada on Country radio. Jeff and his wife have six children and live in the beautiful city of Calgary. Catto delivers an infectious blend of singer-songwriter pop/rock country mixed with Gospel roots that have been compared to and influenced by notable artists such as Dierks Bentley, Niko Moon, and Needtobreathe. Jeff also started Catto Cares which is an initiative created to help raise funds for communities, charities and non-profits through music and storytelling.
