About last night…The official end to 15 years. A night filled with hugs and (happy) tears. One last 2 AM drive thru for french fries and the final unloading of my kits. Hundreds of couples, thousands of guests and a lifetime of memories. These photos are just a few of the many moments I will carry forever and there are so many more of you that I wish I could include. This responsibility is such privilege and I am beyond honoured to have had such a fulfilling career in this industry. It’s both mentally and physically demanding. It’s dirty jobs and heavy lifting. It’s time away from friends and family. It’s early mornings and late nights. But it’s also so rewarding. It’s so full of love and appreciation, and it’s pure magic being able to support someone’s favourite day. As with most small businesses, you only really get to know the face and not the tremendous support behind them. I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from so many rockstars in this wedding world and I’m so grateful for the support they gave to me while supporting my couples. I am thankful for everyone that has pitched in when I needed a hand and never put up a fight when we got thrown some curveballs. Katlyn - thank you for joining me on this wild ride and always being the most supportive cheerleader every step of the way. You have always been there behind the scenes and often don’t get appreciation for how hard you work. I can’t thank you enough for always being there to set me up for success. There are just not enough words to properly thank all of you for trusting me to play a small part in your best day ever. It’s a role I have never taken for granted and have so much love for you all. I will forever be thankful for each and every one of you and it’s been my absolute pleasure to celebrate with you for the past 15 years.
