***Adopted***

This is Ladybug, she was surrendered to us only a day ago because her owner passed away. She's scared and confused right now and we really want to get her into a home as quickly as possible. She is a senior cat at 10 years old. She is the first all white cat we've had at the shelter in over 6 months! We don't have any medical records but we know she could stand to lose a few pounds and doesn't have very many teeth. Despite all of this she loves getting pets and has a nice loud purr. We are reducing Ladybug's adoption fee to $100 in the hopes we can find her a home quickly. Let's find Ladybug a lap to lay on and a friend to grow old with. Contact us to fill out an application or make an appointment to meet this sweet girl.

I first learned about when I moved to Temiskaming Shores in 2017. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. It reminded me of small town Stars Hollow, which wouldn't make sense to anyone that experienced it their whole lives, I'm sure. I begged the person running the axe throwing station to allow my 7 year old to try it(it was a firm, no). We took photos in the wooden faces, and we identified as many of the prime ministers that we could, and I explained which ones were on our money. We ate all the things. That's why I was so excited to have the chance to participate in 2023 with CAMJAM. Sadly, it just isn't meant to be for this year, and although disappointed, I am happy to have the next year to prepare something even better. It's gonna be fire.
