As the chilly air nips at our skin, we find ourselves turning inward, seeking comfort in the warming memories of our recent collaboration with the incredible local talent at the Tiny Farm, Big Table fundraiser.

We brought the streets of Mumbai to Roberts Creek with our vegetarian samosas, infused with aromatic spices and flaky pastry.
✨
The selection of dipping sauces accompanying the savoury samosas was a true delight for the senses. First there was the sweet and tangy imli, or tamarind chutney. Then the sweet mango chutney, which offered a burst of fresh, fruity flavour with shredded mango; but perhaps the most captivating of the trio was the vibrant green chutney, a spicy concoction made from an array of fresh herbs, chillies and coconut.

One of the things we have done in the last month was cater a stunning wedding at the picturesque

This breathtaking seaside venue provided the perfect backdrop for showcasing House of Mistry’s culinary talents, as we crafted our signature triangular delicacies-Samosas.

These flaky pastry pockets, stuffed with an aromatic blend of spiced vegetables delighted the guests with their harmonious flavours and satisfying crispy texture.
The culinary team did not stop there - we also proudly catered an authentic Indian street food, Pani Puri.

These delicate, fried puri shells are filled with a mixture of lentils, herbs, and spices, and then drenched in a flavourful spiced water that adds a spicy pop to each bite. The combination of crisp puri, the savoury filling and aromatic pani created a sensational flavour!

The lovely Shannon Hobson gave such a heartwarming introduction to the amazing Shushma Datt. Shushma has been an honored member of the South Asian community since I moved here in the mid 80s.

Her accomplishments, wisdom, and character have made her a role model for many. She is deeply respected for her tireless service, compassionate spirit, and dedication to uplifting others. Though her humility would never allow her to admit it, Shushma is considered an inspiration and guiding light by all who know her. The community is truly blessed to have such an honorable woman in its midst.
