Well, I finally did one of the things I've been talking about forever. I bought Ableton Suite 12.
It's been a very, very long time since I spent any actual time using a proper DAW, so it might be scant sightings of me for a while, until I get a handle on how to finish a track (no matter how awful it turns out I just want to complete the process desperately). A perfect hobby right as winter is starting, and a totally understandable excuse now for not leaving the house, right?
I'll be happy to take any pointers from you lovely folks for good educational resources, if you have any specific to progressive, techno or trance genres that would really help me a ton. Wish me luck! (I know I'm gonna really need it.)

Going to record the set I played for Stellar. Should be up soon. If you like it deep and dark, take no prisoners, it's for you! Keep your eyes peeled.

That said, of all the mixes I've put out, does anyone have a favourite? I know some of you guys have heard them all and would love to hear why that set you like stands out, as I prepare additional festival submissions.

Reminder - our next Stellar event is this Friday, September 20th, featuring a long anticipated set from Charife, along with Nick Nonsense and Wall of Sound supporting.

Charife is one of my personal favourites, producing and playing a style of deep and minimal yet driving techno, with melodic elements. He has previously released on Techgnosis Records and their sub label NOX, has been named one of the top 50 djs in Canada as well as ranked in the 5 techno djs by The DJ List. His mixing and crowd reading skills have been praised by Mixmag. So this is definitely not a show to miss!

Wall of Sound from 9-11 PM
Charife 11-1 AM
Nick Nonsense 1-2 AM

Thank you Electric Pines Music Festival 2024! Tommy Knuckles, Jen Partridge along with all the other staff and volunteers, you guys made sure this weekend was the perfect end to the festival season. And I can't express enough how much the Wikuo'm stage meant to me. Thank you for this so very much. 🙏❤️

To the vendors, art and stage teams, performers, other djs, and most especially to the dancers and attendees, thank you so much for everything. It was nothing but vibes from the start until when I left late Sunday night. I appreciate all of you so, so much. Let's keep caring and looking out for one another. ❤️

To say I'm in shock to be playing the Wikuo'm tent stage at the same time as the headliners grace the other stages on Saturday at Electric Pines Music Festival 2024, would be a huge understatement. I feel so blessed to have the support of amazing people behind me granting me this opportunity. I can't wait to follow my good friend Tãndãv and then hand the reins over to a talented friend and producer DJ Dartfrog. All the buds are gonna smash this stage, from start to finish, I'm looking so forward to seeing it!!

Oh, and hold your hats/drinks/fans, this set is gonna be full of recent favourites and some good oldies that remind me why I love this music so much. Trance for life. LFG!! ✨🎶
