Thank you Electric Pines Music Festival 2024! Tommy Knuckles, Jen Partridge along with all the other staff and volunteers, you guys made sure this weekend was the perfect end to the festival season. And I can't express enough how much the Wikuo'm stage meant to me. Thank you for this so very much. 🙏❤️

To the vendors, art and stage teams, performers, other djs, and most especially to the dancers and attendees, thank you so much for everything. It was nothing but vibes from the start until when I left late Sunday night. I appreciate all of you so, so much. Let's keep caring and looking out for one another. ❤️

To say I'm in shock to be playing the Wikuo'm tent stage at the same time as the headliners grace the other stages on Saturday at Electric Pines Music Festival 2024, would be a huge understatement. I feel so blessed to have the support of amazing people behind me granting me this opportunity. I can't wait to follow my good friend Tãndãv and then hand the reins over to a talented friend and producer DJ Dartfrog. All the buds are gonna smash this stage, from start to finish, I'm looking so forward to seeing it!!

Oh, and hold your hats/drinks/fans, this set is gonna be full of recent favourites and some good oldies that remind me why I love this music so much. Trance for life. LFG!! ✨🎶

I have returned recharged from Future Forest. What an absolutely amazing time! I got to spend quality time with my old friends Tab (SoundSyster - who snuck in an impromptu replacement set on the Nest stage Saturday for one of the headliners who was unable to make it), and Tammy (what an eye opening view into the running of the festival behind the scenes!). Love you ladies so much. ❤️

Playing Sunday afternoon to open up the Prism stage would not have been such a great experience without the support of Hannah who was stage managing with her crew. Thank you for being so nice and getting me sorted out quickly. I am now in love with those 3000's. To the folks who braved the heat to come check out my set, I hope you enjoyed the vibes and really appreciate you so much. We would not have a festival without any dancers coming out to attend it, and bringing their own participatory energy. ❤️

As always, thank you to Tim for having me, along with the rest of us, and for the effort you are always putting in to continue to evolve and grow the festival amenities and site. It looked so amazing this year on the grounds. ❤️

To the rest of the crew who make up the backbone of the festival, from the Health & Safety, Security, Custodial, Kitchen, WEX, Gate, Visual and Performative Arts, Vendors, Drivers, Media, Stage and Sound crew, and anyone else I may be missing here, you are all amazing and should be so proud of what you have accomplished with this 10 year anniversary of the festival. Thank you so much for your dedication and labour intensive hard work. You all nailed it. ❤️

Zoë it was so great to catch you enjoying some time on the dance floor. I so appreciate the work you and your art team do to elevate the space every year to new visual heights. And now knowing we have a space to honor the community members we have lost over the years just really feels right. ❤️

Sadly I did not catch a lot of sets, but of course SoundSyster playing techno on the Nest, Leiya who followed me was amazing, ATTICUS delivered a strong set of IDs so well, and my other prog sister MISS BUTLER was crushing it. ❤️

I cannot wait to see where we go from here next! So much love for FF. ❤️❤️❤️

August's Amplified mix is a two part release. Sean Keating handles Part 1, recorded for a joint appearance with Aviatrix on Dialed In with Lash Larue for the summer festival series UNDERTOW the dos! We played these mixes live on air August 1st from 8-9pm, and 9-10pm. Although neither was recorded live, they have been recreated to encapsulate the experience of the mix in the 88.7 Cove FM studio.

Just a couple more days until we dance in the forest for .

I am honoured to open the Prism stage for Sunday Funday at 1pm to start the day off with some unique sounds and nostalgia inducing tracks - both old favourites reworked and some new tracks that have caught my ear. I hope you'll come down and groove with me as we work our way into the last day of the festival and soak up those final blissful vibes.

I'm a little late on the appreciation post for VITALITY FESTIVAL 2024, but I wanted to make sure I recognized the dedication and hard work the team put in.

Daniel Hillier, thank you so much for having me out. It was a pleasure playing on those 3000s and the sound was one of the clearest I've experienced yet. It's a lot to take on, but you nailed it! I can't wait for Vitality 2. You and the crew should be so proud of what you started here.

To the landowners - thank you for the use of your amazing property. One of the nicest sites I have been to.

Volunteer, medical and safety teams - you all were on top of everything and a pleasure to work with.

Vendors - amazing experience to have on site, you all had amazing wares.

Flow Performers - you all were amazing and kept the vibes super high. Now let's get you out of the sun for next year, 'cause that was hot!

Other DJs - everyone smashed it! What a talent roster we had here! It was an honour to share the bill with all of you!

Everyone that helped keep me sane over Friday night/ Saturday morning after I locked myself out of my car, you guys are the true MVPs - Brennen Breen (huge thanks for offering up a sleeping spot and really good convo all Friday night), Veronica Rooney, Laura Tarantulaura Bombski Mallen Danger Bombski Mike Spencer Vicky Boyle Chris Cogswell Mike Cullen and especially Phil Cousins/Elfinity for getting me home to get my spare key.

We're at the end of the final day out from VITALITY FESTIVAL 2024, kicking off at 12pm tomorrow June 26th.

The whole weekend is stacked with absolutely incredible talent from around the Maritimes and beyond, with music catering to all electronic tastes. There are just a few tickets remaining, grab them while you can - you will not want to miss saying you were there at the very first Vitality Music and Arts Festival!

And for those who like to traverse the outer realms of space, Aviatrix plays Saturday night / Sunday morning at 430AM.

After a recent decade long break since taking up djing in the early 2000's, Aviatrix is back to bring you an intuitive ear for new, fresh, cutting-edge progressive sounds that span the genres of breaks, electro, house, techno and trance. Never one to shy away from incorporating a blend of both organic and synthetic elements, her sets are a true fusion of forward thinking, quality underground music.

With tracks that have an affinity towards unrelenting growling basslines, dark and melancholic harmonies, and a predominance of staccatoesque percussive elements, they're hypnotic and seductive while still maintaining a sense of urgency and ominous destination. Driving a desire to dance is always at the forefront for Aviatrix when considering what to play.

A known regular on the local party circuit of Canada's East Coast, Aviatrix is also the founding member and driving force behind AMP: Atlantic Melodic & Progressive - both simultaneously a music label and event promotion company, and has previously had guest slots on the influential Chronicles Commends series on DI.FM, Moments show on Frisky Radio (Russia), as well as on local channels closer to home including CracknPop’s Dirty Phat Beats and Dialed In with Lash Larue on Cove FM.

Vitality is coming up quick. This weekend catch me late Saturday night (early Sunday morning) at 430am closing the stage for the night. I will be following some gut rattling techno, so expect a bit of trancetech to end things off. I can't wait to share these new tracks with you all, they are so good. So, there's this really cool coincidence that has been happening after my gigs. I'll get a double rainbow. I rarely see rainbows at all, but after my Moncton show in December for Miss Butler, I saw a double rainbow driving home the day after. And now after Stellar 4, we had a double rainbow exactly right over the house. I'm choosing to take it to mean I'm on the right path musically. What an absolutely beautiful occurrence. 🌈❤️
