After this weekend, the showroom will transform into our creative HQ, meaning only a limited selection will be available for viewing as inventory will be rented out or packed away to make room for exciting new projects!

Welcome to wedding season 2025. We are growing our team to make this another unforgettable year with ODA.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team this season as an
✨ASSISTANT WEDDING DESIGNER✨
This Full Time position runs seasonally from May to November and allows you to train exclusively under our Design team to create impactful events. The ideal candidate for this role would be a creative individual who is detail oriented, works well under pressure and is looking to grow with our team. Experience in weddings & events, floral design and/or having a related certifications are an asset.
We are also seeking FT & PT STYLISTS as well as WEEKEND EVENT SPECIALISTS and FAUX FLORISTS with schedule flexibility and weekend availability.
Interviews will be conducted starting next week and orientation begins for the season on May 3rd!

Kick off your season in style at One Day Affair’s Wedding Industry Night. Join us on Thursday, April 24th from 6:00pm- 10:00pm to mix and mingle with your professional peers. Our One Day Social Affair venue is proud to host this evening of fun with entertainment provided by the Fine Tuners DJ Service and a photobooth by The Memory Snap. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments with a chance to purchase door price ballots towards a downtown Halifax experience for two. Only 50 event tickets are available for $25 each and all proceeds from the event go to Chebucto Connections in support of our local community.
