We’re so thrilled to announce some exciting changes in ownership here at Props. Our fearless leader Ashley MacNeill has assumed sole ownership of the business and can’t wait to embark on this next chapter of her professional career. Ashley has devoted her entire adult life to the Props name, beginning as a shop assistant at the tender age of seventeen and moving into a design role by her early twenties. She has served as head designer for the past decade, and finally assumed an ownership role five years ago when she purchased the business from her aunt Susan MacIntosh. Ashley will now be continuing on as the sole owner of Props, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store under her creative direction and leadership. She is a powerhouse whose drive is unparalleled, matched only by her 20+ years of design experience. A master florist, a momma of two, and an all-around badass, we can think of no better boss-babe to be at the helm of our business. Congratulations, !

Did you know that the birth flower for November is the chrysanthemum? Oft overlooked for other “showier” focal flowers, we love this bloom for its long-lasting heartiness and versatility. Workshop registration is live! For those of you who join us each holiday season, you’ll notice that our prices (much like everything else) have unfortunately gone up a bit this year. We’ve had to make this difficult decision to account for the increasing cost of materials and ingredients, and truly hope that the change in pricing isn’t prohibitive to anyone joining us. Thanks so much for your continued support of us and the other small businesses that make up our community - we love you!

It’s November 1st, and y’all know what that means!! The shelves that were lined with candy and costumes will be replaced with everything Christmas, and those classic holiday tunes will start to seep into radio play until we’re all sick of them before it’s even December. But we’re here for it!

We have a fun-filled, festive lineup of holiday workshops again this year. From fresh winter wreaths to stunning holiday centrepieces, we can’t wait to make merry merry with you and help you bring beauty home!
