We’re kicking off the first week of September with our fall lineup of workshops and classes!
On Sept 17th, we’ll lean into the season and celebrate the upcoming Fall Equinox with our signature Floral Design for Mental Health & Wellness.. This class is all about the therapeutic benefits of floristry, and will take you through making your very own floral vase arrangement.
Then, on October 9th and 10th, we’ll get ready for Thanksgiving with two centrepiece workshops- the first in a beautiful ceramic pot, and the second a locally-grown Nova Scotia pumpkin!

We’ve partnered up with to offer you a magical morning of flower picking and arranging on Sunday, August 25th. You’ll get to first soak up the healing power of flowers strolling through Emma’s beautiful fields. You’ll choose and pick all your own blooms, filling your bucket with as many stems as your heart desires. Then you’ll join designer and instructor .roar in the hayloft for a floral design demo and hands-on instruction to create your own unique arrangement.

Job Description:
The role of a Floral Designer is to serve customers, create and process floral arrangements, and keep the shop clean. They are also responsible for helping to open and close the shop.
Skills/Qualifications
This position requires the ability to:
- Create bouquets and arrangements in the Props style with speed and efficiency
- Do math
- Follow instructions, and ask questions
- Communicate with kindness and clarity to a wide range of people
- Work as part of a small team
- Handle cash
- Use Google Docs, Spreadsheets calendar, Gmail and floral software.
Schedule / Number of hours per week
We are looking for someone willing to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 9-5:30 at a minimum. This is likely to increase in September, October and November, climaxing with Christmas. After Christmas, shifts are likely to decrease again until the big holidays and wedding season.
Starting rate of pay: $19/hr
Start date Monday July 29, or as soon as possible.
Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke. Classic whites and green for evah.
