I’ve finally had a chance for a little bit of downtime and I’m going through some second shooting I did for some incredible photographers this year.

We had a ‘Loverfest’ (Taylor Swift fans understand) for T+ A back in the incredible heat of June and I’m missing that in my chilly winter editing den right now. The colour, energy and love absolutely ooze from these moments captured and makes me miss summer weddings beyond words. Only two more weeks and my 2025 couples can say they’re getting married -this year- ✨

I am absolutely missing summer weather and late golden hours with all of the snow that has piled up here!

It’s is always so special to be invited back year after year to capture so many memories for the most incredible clients and friends. J + B are the goofiest people alive (totally my kind of people) and we danced and laughed harder than any session I’ve ever had. I met their fur friend finally as well, the sweetest girl there ever was. Their love is so pure, fun and vibrant and these photos show that so perfectly ✨

It’s always such a pleasure to photograph love when I’m travelling and A+N’s is no exception. An unexpectedly busy beach led us to the perfect alternate location looking over Kalamalka Lake. We dipped our toes in the water and sand, talked about how A+N met, fell in love and their mutual love for exploring the outdoors, and then huffed and puffed up Rattlesnake Point in our sandals to catch the sunset sinking behind the Okanagan Valley mountains

M+C,

These wedding photos (+ beautiful humans) deserve a permanent spot in my feed. I can’t think of another instance where driving 2 hours to a wedding was more worth it. Every photo was a new favourite. Every moment just as special as the last. Golden hour was a rainy sneak away on the TFT terrace (how perfect, right?) with sky high windows and incredible scenery. I’m going to relive this swooning every time I peek back at your special day ✨

These special moments from J+C’s day encompass so much love and happiness. We avoided the rain for the ceremony with gorgeous Cambridge Mill pavilion, and escaped inside for a beautiful reception and delicious food. The clouds parted and gave us a golden goodbye while we had some private moments on the balcony overlooking downtown Galt.

I feel so blessed every day for this to be my job and capture a love like this ✨

I can’t believe it’s already summer? Where did spring disappear to!? I’m so pumped for this wedding season and capturing so many precious memories. I try not to take life too seriously and make sure we’re going to laugh and enjoy each moment together celebrating your love. I can’t believe it’s already the end of May! This year has flown by so quick and the heat of wedding season has finally begun. I can’t wait to see all of my lovely couples celebrate their love and for many more couples to trust me to capture their love and memories in the future! I can’t get over how beautiful these images of A+ J came out. What a fun time dancing around the park to Nelly Furtado, snapping a few medium format film images and talking about how special and sentimental A+J’s rings are, worn by past generations in their families.
