A+L’s elopement earlier this month was the most romantic, dreamy day. This couple travelled from long and far away to get married in Nova Scotia. I was so honoured to plan this sweet day for them. They were here for less than 48 hours and then flew to Greece for their honeymoon 🤍🤍🤍

More Wedding Planner Real Talk. 👇🏻🖤

It’s been a minute since I have posted.
Here’s why…I’m going through a separation from my fiancé and long term partner. With that comes packing, finding a new place to live, financial planning, grieving the loss of the home and family I worked hard to build.

Swallowing my feelings and pulling off wedding days has been hard. Mother Nature has been feeling me because she has been crying hard on wedding days when it’s all I want to do but can’t because I need to show up for my clients
(I always will 🖤🙏🏼).

I’ve said this before, running a business is hard. I don’t think there is anything a person can do to prepare themselves for what it’s like. Maybe not all business owners do this, but I tend to put myself last. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for my clients and business. I believe Pineapple is somehow what gets me through.

It’s true that you never know what someone is going through. Be kind to others and hold your loved ones close xo

Wedding planner REAL TALK 👈🏻

It’s not often I am vulnerable online but tonight, I feel the need to be. Here goes…

Running a business is hard. Running a wedding planning business is harder. As planners, we are here to relieve you of your stress. Talk you down when you spiral into a sea of worries. We make sure all your hard work planning comes to fruition on your wedding day. But who listens to us when we start to spiral over the stress of all our weddings combined? When we lose sleep over our work. It can feel isolating to carry this weight. Don’t get me wrong, i thrive under pressure. I am a natural born problem solver. I want to take your stress away. I’m not content until I know you feel at ease.

All this to stress the importance of having outlets to manage our own anxieties. For me, it’s talking to other business owners in my circle who can relate. It’s doing yoga and disconnecting. I really try to lean into the fact that I am not alone. The feelings will pass and the wedding days WILL be beautiful!

Hi👋🏼, my name is Tina Lesyk. The face behind . It’s me who replies to your emails/dm’s. Me who plans/carries through your weddings📋. Me who design/builds your balloon garlands 🎈. Me who bartends your events🍹. Me who built this business and created my own employment🍍💙. I guess one can say, I wear a few hats!

I grew up in Ridgeway, ON and have spent over half my life in the maritimes. I guess you can say I’m an honorary maritimer ⚓️
