Friends, clients, and Insta-family, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you!

Meeting new faces, welcoming new clients into the fold, and building relationships with all of you this year has been such a blessing.

For all of my soon-to-be friends and clients, here are a few things about me you may not already know:

1) I was born in Germany 🇩🇪, which is where my love of travel began. While I grew up in Canada, we often spent weeks at a time in Germany and traveling to different European countries throughout my childhood.

2) I am a past destination bride myself! I was married in Cuba in 2014 at the Iberostar Laguna Azul.

3) I studied abroad in my 3rd year of university at the University of West Indies Cavehill Campus in Barbados. This only reinforced my love of travel and the Caribbean!

*Costa Rica Night Walk*

Yesterday I enjoyed a night walk through the gardens and jungle of a local family.

Our guide was exceptional and told us all about Costa Rica wildlife and found us amazing creatures to view, some of those who only come out at night.

We saw a sloth, poisonous dart frogs, lizards, giant bull frogs, massive spiders, bullet ants, red eye green tree frogs.

We also saw pepper, Cacao, vanilla and so much more!

It was a really neat and education experience. I highly recommend it 10/10!

It's Friday the 13th... if you are the superstitious type, you may avoid flying on a day like today...

But according to data gathered by Kayak, there are deals to be found.

Whether this is because Airlines are anticipating that superstitious beliefs will impact demand or not is unsure, but flights to Europe were almost 39% less on Friday the 13th.

Here are 3 tips to avoid the overbooking bump:

➡️ Use the 5-4-3-2-1 Packing Method

The 54321 packing method means that all you need are five tops, four bottoms, three dresses, three pairs of shoes, two swimsuits, two bags, and one of each of a few miscellaneous accessories to get through a week of travel.

Now, depending on the season you’ll want to tweak items accordingly.
