I can barely contain my excitement for the beauty that’s going to burst out of here in a couple months. Inside are thousand of tulips! 🌷🌷🌷
Until then though I’ll be on snow watch 😉
The field dahlias have all turned black after last week’s hard frost. We’ll give them another couple weeks in the ground before we dig them for winter storage.
In the meantime the greenhouse dahlias are still pumping out the blooms, but stems are getting a little leggy and we’ve got some powdery mildew beginning to form.
Regardless, I’m always happy to start my day with these perfectly imperfect stars of the fall garden.
