We’re still recovering from all the fun at the Canada Day Fest, and we wanted to take a moment to give a massive shoutout to each and every one of you who made this event legendary. You all rock!

To our performers, thank you for bringing the house down with your amazing acts. You had us dancing, singing, and occasionally questioning our own lack of talent.

Volunteers and team members, you are the superheroes of this fest. From setting up at the crack of dawn to making sure everything ran smoothly, you did it all with a smile (and maybe a few cups of coffee). We couldn’t have done it without your ninja-like multitasking skills.

Our sponsors, thank you for believing in our crazy vision and helping us turn it into reality. Your support means the world to us.

To our fantastic vendors, Thank you for keeping us fueled and happy with your tasty treats and awesome goods.

🌟 **Thank You to Everyone Who Made Canada Day Fest Possible!** 🌟

As the organizer of this year's Canada Day Fest, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey we've had to bring this event to life. It hasn’t been without its challenges, but your support and encouragement have made it all worthwhile.

We welcomed wayyyyyy more than 10,000 people and more than 120 vendors to our event, and in a city like Hamilton, pulling this off was no easy feat. But we did it, proving that woman empowerment is real.
As a woman, I took on this challenge all by myself and made this celebration a reality, despite not having a lot of experience or resources, it shows just how strong woman empowerment can be.

The crowd was extremely multicultural, reflecting the rich diversity that makes Canada so unique. Special thanks to our diverse lineup of performers for showcasing the rich multiculturalism and heritage of our nation.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers and dedicated team. Your hard work and dedication have been the backbone of this celebration.

This event has truly been a testament to the resilience, unity, and diversity of our great nation. Let's continue to embrace and celebrate what makes Canada so special.

Ahnii, Sago,
("Ahnii" means "hello" or "greetings" in Ojibwe, and "Sago" means "hello" in Seneca.)

Introducing the Epinigishimag Anangokaa singers for Canada Day Fest , whose name loosely translates in the Ojibway language to the “Stars of the West.” All members are currently in the western quadrant, the adult stage of their lives. The Anishinaabe Kwe Anango (The Women’s Star), also known as Venus, is present before Mishomis Giizis (the sun) rises every morning. The Anishinaabe Kwe Anango brings Mino Bimaadiziwin, or “the good life,” which the group shares by lifting their voices and sharing the songs they have learned.

The members of the Epinigishimag Anangokaa singers are:

- Katelyne Clark, Mississaugas of Credit First Nation, Bear Clan
- Jessica Medeiros, Six Nations of the Grand River - Seneca, Deer Clan

**Giovanni Salgado** brings his expertise in Rueda de Casino to the stage, mesmerizing audiences with his intricate and lively Cuban-style salsa moves.

**Trevor Copp** is not only a professional dancer but also a seasoned stage performer. As the founder of Hamilton's Tottering Biped Theatre, he brilliantly merges social-issue expression with physical performance, creating thought-provoking and dynamic shows.

He wowed audiences at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2023 and premiered his short film "GOT IT" at TO Sketch Fest 2024, earning an Outstanding Short nomination.
Jade has collaborated with top Canadian entertainers and performs on stages worldwide.
