One of my favourite parts of being your officiant is telling your love story, bragging about your accomplishments, and giving shout-outs to the moments + people that brought you together. 💪🏼

One thing I forget to share most often is what about ME is going to help serve YOU better. 
I have been an officiant for six years now (👀 what?!) but before that, I worked in Canadian professional theatre.

My attention to production detail (Do you have a paper-weight? 🎤 Mic? What kind of pen are we signing with?) and comfort on stage ensure a strong, passionate ceremony that everyone will remember with delight.

As a comedian I can add a few moments of levity to the script, or we can take the traditional toastmasters route. 📸 As a photojournalist I recognize the importance of stepping aside for the first kiss milestone moment! ⚡️

This has been a hard year.
I just came across this little gem, and it was a reminder that it is all worth it. Love is worth it. Your marriage is worth celebrating.

''My fiancé and I got engaged two years ago and although the rhyme goes “first come’s love then comes marriage” we jumped a few steps and went straight to the baby carriage. Our son was born last September in 2019 and we realized we would have to pivot our engagement and wait a few years until the finances levelled back out.

I never thought in a million years one simple click of the mouse and I would be given my dream wedding on a silver platter.

We gathered at her family home on August 1st, to say our vows in front of our 11 month old son, our parents and my 94 year old grandmother.

We were able to share the day via social media and our friends and family could watch from the safety and comforts of home.

Kendra was thoughtful, generous and on the ball with every aspect and last little detail. Not only did she draft the entire script but she used our own personal love story to customize the ceremony to only us.

She has an keen eye for decoration and an even better eye behind the lens.

Not only did we have a beautiful ceremony officiated by her, but then she captured our most private and special moments.

At the end of our shoot it started raining and we drove off as husband and wife.

Now we have been married 3 months and it still feels like yesterday.

Now just to figure out how to display all of this priceless photos."
