Happy Saturday! It's been a wonderful day at the market. There are lots of vendors selling fruits, veggies, flowers 💐 and baked treats.

This is what 4 hours of harvesting on a Friday gets us for making bouquets at the market! Eight buckets jam packed with flowers. We also harvested another 7 buckets on Thursday of our longer lasting blooms like statice and foliage. Big thank you, and shout out to .floraldesign and .kruk for the harvesting help.

Oh, and that's our cat, Pinkie 😻.

It's all coming in at once, folks:) we've got a bounty of harvest, from the last of our spring Bells of Ireland and Nigella, to our summer dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, rudbeckia and much more.

Did you know we do events? We offer both pre-made bouquets as well as buckets of blooms for those DIYers out there. We always welcome messages and are happy to customize colours and/or types of flowers :)

We're here at the market until 2pm with ranunculus, lilacs, lupins and... the first of the peonies!

Check out the roots on those cosmos seedlings! We tried out the Pioneer air pruning tray this year and were very impressed. We'll compare establishment and growth on these newly planted seedlings to cosmos grown in standard 6 cell pack trays.

We still have some specialty cut flower cosmos varieties in 6 cell packs for sale tomorrow at the market! They are super productive and bloom until the very end of summer.

I thought I'd highlight some more of our zinnia varieties that are coming into bloom and how zinnias add wonderful colour variety to our Farmer's Market bouquets 💐

Some of our early blooming zinnias varieties... liking the pale green 'envy' variety quite a bit. Zinnias are so productive and there are many colours to choose from. Still to bloom include bright yellow, orange, pink, as well as deep reds and purples!

Our first cosmos blooms have arrived! Can't wait to put these together with our snapdragons and dahlias for tomorrow's !!
