Hello Everyone!
This is week 5 of our " Quarantine Lessons" and Sat. was our first Zoom Orchestra! What a surprise! It was soooo fun...and I felt quite teary-eyed to see you all again in these strange times. I'll be honest, I was quite unsure of what to expect, knowing Zoom can have a delay and devices are different and may not be as clear, but it worked! We tuned, we talked, we listened to each other play and I'd like to think we are all remotivated.
I'll continue to send video tutorials.Private students and SSS Adv have been sent, Int and Beginners will be sent later today, chamber will get theirs tomorrow. I'd like to request you work with each video to the end ( it will be much more useful to you than ending early). Also,it does help if you have earphones you can plug into your device. Did you know I can see who opens the video tutorials, for how often and for how long? I'd like to commend our dedicated Beginners.....most openings, and at the Zoom practice, each were actually able to play all of "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman" which they learned from video tutorials! Lets use their dedication as an inspiration to all of us.
Next Zoom Orchestra Sat.:
Slight change , just join the meeting 5-10min ahead with the meeting number given in your email. Hopefully that will work better than an invited number. Not all invited numbers worked sat. Of course I'll resend a number, if necessary, as we did last sat.
