Looking back on last July, I can't believe where the time has gone.
2022 was a whirlwind of a year, filled with postponements and new engagements, allowing millions of weddings to take place around the world

I am so grateful to have gotten to be a part of so many magical moments for each of my clients, and to continue to work on beautiful weddings again this year ✨🎀

a HUGE throwback to 6 years ago when I worked for the TRCA's Kortright Centre in Vaughan, Ont.

Over my years of working as a wedding coordinator for venues, I have been lucky to have met and worked alongside many phenomenal wedding planners.

Back on this gorgeous September day in 2017, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Eddie Suliman of Mystical Weddings (now Eddie Suliman Events).

I am grateful to have learnt so many details, both big and small, just by watching Eddie & her team in action to put on a beautiful wedding for her sister's big day.

I would not be where I am today without having the many experiences I had, and continue to have working with so many talented event professionals in our industry.

Truthfully, I — like many others, had no clue what this year's weddings would look like. Some have been lucky enough to follow through with their dates and plans, others not as much. I'm trying to look on the positive side; we'll all get there eventually, and when we do, it'll be so much more meaningful because we know how many obstacles had to be surpassed.

Emily + Brian were amongst some of those lucky ones, not just to have had their beautiful wedding, but because they found each other. Their love is so real you can't help but feel the joy in their presence. We're half way through June. We have no idea what "Step 3" will permit and restrict. Our industry, much like many other businesses, have been royally spun around. Bars and Restaurants are now open for outdoor dining but venues can't do the same? We have waited, we have worked on a plan and we are continuing to beg to live our lives. We can do it safely. 🤍
