A small sampling from this years Christmas hot appetizer menu. Trial run of some new bites and modified old faves;
Seafood cups, Spinach Artichoke and Pesto cups , Mushroom and Gruyère puff pastry bites, Spinach and Feta pinwheels, BBQ Cheddar Sausage bites, Taco Cups, Crab and Shrimp stuffed Mushrooms and Tomato Cheese Puff Pastries.
I’ve tried them all…. And yes I think we’ve got some hits!!!

Prep work for Caesar salad, crumbled bacon bits and fresh made herb and garlic croutons. My sister introduced me to this crouton recipe a long, long time ago and I’ve never looked for another recipe, they are just that good!

So many ways to enjoy potatoes, some of our favourites are smashed roasted herb Parmesan baby potatoes, loaded potato skins, twice baked fully loaded and creamy mashed. What’s your favourite way to dish up this dinner side dish?

Rise and shine, the early bird gets the worm for these breakfast treats. Fresh made pastries with jams, honey and butter, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit tray…with a coffee…can’t get much better than that.

To start the morning, bbq cheddar sausage rolls and to end the day a platter of canapés, smoked salmon mousse, avocado mousse with cucumber, avocado stuffed cherry tomatoes, Boursin stuffed mini-peppers.
In between there were lasagna’, biscuits, charcuterie skewers, sweets trays, veggie and fruit trays and a whack of meal deliveries. It’s been a busy day… can’t wait for someone to make me supper…,LOL
We do great food!!

What a start to the work week! The oven got a work out today.as did the BBQ, roasting and smoking some good eats. From creamy tortellini soup and cabbage rolls to twice baked fully loaded potatoes and delicious cuts of meat. What will tomorrow bring???

Some tasty ready made meals, teriyaki pork tenderloin with bacon wrapped beans and bacon fried rice, h and Boursin stuffed chicken breast with a sundried tomato cream sauce. Let’s all say Yummy!! 😋

It’s been a mash up kinda morning, minestrone and creamy asparagus soup (fresh tomato basil soup already in the freezer), used some garden fresh zucchini and stuffed them with a creamy cheesy sausage filling, oh ya they are delicious. This is round two of these. Made a new dessert, biscoff rocky road squares. Can’t wait to try these, they smell delicious, a bit like arrowroot cookies with white chocolate, mini marshmallows and biscoff spread, yes this is a real thing.😋😋😋 we’re planning a QC check of the soups for lunch, happy to be me and yes I’ll be making some biscuits to go with them. 😁😁

Today’s agenda, appetizers…😋😋🤗
Bite size maple sausage rolls, pumpernickel crostini for smoked salmon and cucumber canapés, phyllo cups for seafood, Greek and mango dips.
Crispy pork wontons and fried naan wedges to come, along with charcuterie.
