Hello! I am Laura, a Registered Reflexology Practitioner (RRPr) with the RRCO, and Complimentary Health Practitioner. I created Willowgrove Wellness out of my desire to help people feel better, inside out, with alternative therapies and a holistic approach to healing.

I have spent many years learning and bridging the often opposing subjects of science and spirituality by using complementary ‘alternative’ healing methods. This is Katie Wilken (44) She has a kickass upcycled clothing business Threads of Harmony.

Playing with fashion is one of the primary reasons I gravitated toward women's portraits in the first place.

I love dressing up and trying out different outfits, textures and patterns; and playing around with hair and makeup to create something that looks like it's straight out of Vogue.

Except the images you see here and on my web page are not models.

They are every day women like you and me. All body shapes and sizes, and all ages; with unique personalities and stories to share.

This is a great workshop. I attended a previous one and it helped deepen my connection to my own Intuition and my preferred deck.

The work I do is energetic. There is an exchange that goes beyond money.
There is trust, collaboration, co-creation of the images we create. 💫

It's why I don't really do mini sessions. For me; getting to know each of you is so much more valuable that stacking shoots to maybe earn a lot in one single day.

Today i witnessed a woman trying to design an album on the Kodak photo kiosk. Honestly, it was painful.
She had these great shots of her trip to Ireland, but couldn't get past the tech end.
I wanted to design an album for her using my professional software to make it easier and help her see it to fruition.

Question for you all:
Do you find this sort of thing daunting? Designing albums or wall art displays?
Or do you have good intentions and are tech savvy enough but just have no time?

If so, know I can help.
Whether it's those unprinted wedding photos, or decades of kids photos that have been stored on your phone - I can help make it a reality.

As I wrap up client orders in time for the holiday rush, I wanted to share some ideas and goals that have surfaced.

1. I'm toying with the idea of moving my studio home (leaving the Hanover location - I have mixed feelings about this, but more on that later).
I have never shot in my home professionally, so need to do a couple of dry runs before making this decision. For this I need volunteers, and kinda soon-ish.

2. I also need new product samples. I realized this as I was prepping for this Friday's ladies night - all I have are wedding samples, and I dont really do weddings these days.... so I want to do a couple of creative shoots to work on my samples over the winter. Again, I need volunteers.

What I'm looking for are women who will let me have full creative control on these projects, are prepared to be vulnerable (it takes courage to do these shoots!) and are also ok knowing their images will be on display in my studio and markets.
