Flames or No "real" Flames? 🔥
According to etiquette experts, here are some tips.
Inside both are acceptable if they provide enough lighting.
Do not use both electric lights and candles at the same time.
Never use less than 4 single candles or 2 candleabras for a dinner table.
Outside it might be challenging to have real flames and obviously real flames can be a hazard in any situation.
Everyone agrees no scented candles at the dinner table. You don’t want a scent competing with the smell of your heavenly cooking. As well, many people are sensitive to the fragrances.
With all the advancements of battery operated candles, there are real options.
Either way candles do add an elegance ambiance to all table settings.
