Samantha Whelan Kotkas (M. Music, B. Music) has been praised for creating truly unique and totally engaging experiences for young audiences. She is an award-winning producer, storyteller, trumpet player and teaching artist who has traveled internationally as a creative consultant and performer.

This March, Samantha and fellow artist Walter White Bear take us on an unforgettable journey through stories and music which invite us to connect with nature and Indigenous ways of knowing.

​​​✴​ Programmed the summer Ottawa Chamberfest (among the world’s largest chamber music festivals) and a suite of community engagement and education initiatives including sensory-friendly concerts for families with children on the autism spectrum
​​​✴​ Conceived, developed, and produced the Trio’s flagship educational program, Listen Up!, in communities across Canada
