Wow Hope! Another successful Brigade Days for the history books. The stars were aligned and we had record attendance. The Brigade Days team can’t thank you enough for everyone that showed up and made it a memorable one. The parade showed wonderful community spirit with many local businesses and groups participating. Hope Motorsports put on a great show both Friday and Sunday. I’m sure the participants are moving a little slow today! And we can’t forget Trooper….what show! Thank you to all of you, the board, volunteers, service groups, participants, attendees, sponsors, entertainers, and the folks who worked hard prepping the grounds, setting up rentals, food trucks who happily served food to everyone. So many people; everyone played a part in making peoples’ experience at Hope Brigade Days a positive one. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts❤️

Congratulations to the Wi***es from Surrey on winner the beautiful bear carving by Hannu signed by Trooper. All proceeds from this raffle are going to the Fraser Hope Lidge Adult Daycare program. Thanks for coming out and celebrating Hope and all it has to offer.

We're expecting record-breaking attendance this year! Here are a few tips to make your visit the best it can be!

1. When possible please carpool this will alleviate traffic and parking.

2. Get your wristbands in advance. We might sell out throughout the day. To ensure access to great events, you can purchase your tickets online or from participating retailers in Hope and Chilliwack:

-Fortin's Supply - Hope & Airport Rd. Chilliwack
-Pharmasave- Hope
-Silver Creek Travel Centre

3. Want to beat the crowds? Come early! We've got events happening morning, day, and night!

4. If you plan to go on the rides, you can save time in line by purchasing ride tickets online directly from Shooting Star Amusements. Visit them at shootingstar.ca * please note ride passes and Brigade Days wristbands are separate.

5. It's going to be hot and sunny! Be sure to put on a little sunscreen and stay hydrated!

6. Most events at Brigade Days are free to enter and do not require wristbands. The events that require wristbands include all events in the sports bowl including demo derby, concerts, access to the Ken James Rip Off Saloon and the live music offerings within.
Every other event at Brigade Days is free to enter including the rides area, Food Truck Alley, and Briggie Bazaar. To go on the rides you must purchase tickets from Shooting Star Amusements.

Be sure to take note of road closures over the weekend!

District of Hope is excited that the annual Brigade Days is this weekend. With the weekend, there are road closures that will occur to accommodate the event.

On Saturday September 7, 2024, the annual Brigade Day Parade will be held. With the parade being held, the parade route will be shut down from 8 AM – 2 PM. Please note that Wallace Street parking will be unavailable during this period too.
