Once upon a time when I first opened my shop, these die-hard ladies ❤️joined me for a wreath making workshop from scratch! It took us over three hours, sore fingers (I think we may have even had to provide a bandaid or two 😬) but the results were beautiful! But I still hear it to this day that it was a bit much. 😅So this year we decided to try wreath making on a grapevine base.

Photos are just an example of what we can create. We will provide a selection of decorative accents in natural and artificial. A lovely selection of ribbons will be on hand and assistance in bow making.

For an enjoyable evening of wreath making that won’t take forever 🤣🤦‍♀️ please join us at on Monday, November 24th from 6-8pm. Workshop is on our website.

We will be adding two more in December: a long lasting winter centrepiece in a decorative wooden box, and a floral Christmas centrepiece in a ceramic vessel. They will be posted shortly!

Workshop ~ Fresh Christmas Wreath

Join us Monday November 24th for a fun workshop where you will make an outdoor Christmas Wreath using fresh winter greens!

Location: Ingleside Bakery & Gourmet Foods

The evening will run from 6-8 pm.

At this workshop, you will receive step by step instructions to create your own custom wreath made on a grapevine base and decorated with gorgeous, long lasting winter greens, and your choice of an assortment of outdoor quality artificial berries, ribbon, pine cones and other dried and festive accents.

Bring a friend and join in the fun!

* if you have any ornaments or decorations you’d like to add into your wreath, please bring it along and we will help you incorporate it into your design!

Cost for workshop is $95 plus tax, and includes a choice of hot or cold beverage, and a baked treat from the bakery.

* Other selections from the bakery will be available to purchase during the workshop.

Our Story

The Village Green Flower Shop hasn’t been around for a while, but it previously served the area for many years. Elise, along with her parents who owned the shop in Morrisburg, made the difficult decision in 2004 to close the shop due to changing family needs at the time. Several years later with children grown, Elise decided it was time to revive the classic name of the shop which had served the area for generations with excellent customer service, and superb quality and value.

Elise is a talented and skilled designer whose main focus is on serving the community around her. She strives to create arrangements that speak for the heart of the sender. It’s more than about making pretty flower arrangements—it’s about connecting with people and helping them convey thoughts and emotions at some of the most significant moments of people’s lives whether it be the arrival of a new baby into our world, or a celebration of a life well lived. Flowers are for the grand moments we celebrate like weddings and anniversaries, and graduations, new homes or jobs, or to send to the friend who is struggling with life and needs a little pick me up, or the grandparent who feels lonely and needs to know someone thinks of them even when they can’t be near. Life is full of moments, and flowers convey so much when we want to reach out and say ‘thanks’, ‘I care’, ‘I love you’, ‘I grieve with you’, or ‘I celebrate with you’.

Our delivery area includes Ingleside, Long Sault, Cornwall, Finch, Avonmore, Chesterville, Wi******er, Williamsburg, Morrisburg, Iroquois and all areas in between.
