I have been involved in the equine industry on a personal level for approximately 35 years. During that time, I have been involved in western gaming, rodeo events such as breakaway calf roping, team penning, AQHA Western events and a season working as a groom and hotwalker at Kinghaven Farms. I have followed numerous club shows and am familiar with the basics of dressage, hunter, jumper and eventi

ng. I am also a journalism graduate with previous experience in film photography and classic darkroom film development. This combination has led me on my path to become an equine photographer. My understanding of form vs function and how it applies to the photography of animals is evident in my work, but my true passion lies in showcasing the special relationship between animals, and between people and their animals. Although I am very happy at the barn, I am equally comfortable in the home and enjoy providing portrait services including pets, newborn and family photography. Any additional interests that I manage to squeeze out can be found in my gallery, where select images can be purchased for your own wall art!
