Throughout the weekends in December, parking on the streets in Downtown Kamloops is completely free.

Dates to note:
- December 7 and 8
- December 14 and 15
- December 21 and 22
- December 28 and 29

Both Seymour Parkade (located at 240 Seymour Street) and Lansdowne Parkade (found at 335 Lansdowne Street) offer complimentary parking every weekend throughout the year. However, this free weekend parking does not apply to city-operated surface lots or privately owned parking facilities.
