When you find photos from a couple years back and are still in love! This is what I love about creating a look that will withstand the test of time. Choosing elements that are classic with a hint of modern, soft pastel undertones with a touch of summer hues, natural garden style florals...timeless. ✨

This was such a magical day in Lake Country. We worked with a summery-inspired color palette of blush, mauve and peach tones. It really was magical especially with the color tones in the sunset sky. Just another day spent working with with creatives, creating something amazing for our couples! The best feeling!

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this one word lately … patience. Those feelings of when things don’t come instantly like we’re used to, you worry about something and wish for something to happen sooner, the frustration starts to outshine and become super frustrating. There is just something so beautiful being in this waiting period. All the work you’ve been working on, the long waits, finally seeing those buds form on the trees and green leaves poke through the soil, and then finally watching those beautiful flowers bloom. When we are patient beautiful things and opportunities come our way, everything takes time and I promise you it’s always worth the wait. If you’re reading this today and you’re waiting for that something, even if you have been waiting for a long time don’t give up. Your bloom will come, it usually always does in some shape or form and the wait will be worth it.

So, what do we do? And who is we?

“We” is myself and an incredible team of helpers and fellow creatives who have a passion for all things wedding. The team behind the scenes are who make this job fun and help me pull off our select number of weddings a year during each season. Together we hustle, create, problem-solve, clean buckets, haul loads of recycling, build creative pieces, style decor and process thousands of stems of flowers that come through our studio during each wedding week, and so much more… and I could never do this alone!

As a creative studio, we specialize in working with couples who value the fine details and want a full service experience where we dream up beautiful and truly unique weddings highlighting the loveliest experience for you and your guests. Our clients select a planning service, our floral design, and our design & decor package creating an all in one experience and we live for weddings like this!

Who am I? I am just a girl who went to school for one thing and changed it all for something completely different it's been the most beautiful and a little terrifying journey but worth every lesson. All the challenges, cut, scrapes, thorn pokes and bruises have taught me to believe in me and my own version of success which isn't what most would think but feels so darn good for our family.

Behind these lovely little squares it’s been a roller coaster, one that continues to surprise me and I’m here to share in all of my journey with you and hope to inspire you and love on you as much as possible.

Ahhhh, Flower Ordering... It’s a Love/Hate but mostly love kinda thing.

Whenever I sit down to order flowers for a wedding I have my inspiration images near followed by me sketching out details of every floral piece that will be placed at my couples wedding. There’s something about this process that connects me to every aspect of their day.

From there I will go through and select each type of flower that I want to use in each piece that I am creating. Thinking of the season, how to tie in the colour palette but also making it stand out from other weddings, using textures and different materials that inspire me and guide me to create something unique.

It’s a beautiful thing listening for the first time what a client wants taking her ideas, transferring it to paper, and creating the real thing to give on their wedding day … it’s simply a beautiful part of my why.

Our baby boy celebrated his 2nd Birthday this weekend. Quade you have been pure magic in our lives you are the gentlest soul, full of sweet melt your heart smiles and I am here for all the ways you’re gonna teach this mama. Your big sisters adore you and can’t get enough of your hugs and kisses. And will never forget your little pats on the back when you give someone a hug. Can’t wait to watch you grow year after year but for now I’m gonna soak you up right now!! Love you and your hug a bugs.

Another look at our new design and branding, we couldn't be happier with the final product! We are endlessly thankful for the amazing work @lizachild did on our re-branding!
