sure you and your cake get the attention it deserves! Booking well in advance is highly recommended, especially during our wedding season (May-October). Cupcakes, donuts, and other sweets (macarons, tarts, etc.) may be custom ordered for events and special occasions as well. By appointment ONLY!

As some of you know, I was asked to dance in this years , and I am training with a professional dance partner to learn Latin ballroom! Specifically, the Cha Cha ✨ Well here we are, 12 days until the gala event, and performances. I can’t believe how quickly this time has gone, we’ve been training since late October!

Swinging With the Stars is the largest fundraiser for , which is near and dear to my heart after losing my two grandfathers last year. COHA provides grief service, counselling, and so much more to families experiencing the loss of a loved one. Children who have lost parents, people who have lost partners, parents who have lost children. Your donation means that nobody ever has to grieve alone.

After 13 years, a chapter is ending. I have made the decision to close the books on Sugar Sweet Cake Company, to focus my attention and passion on my other business Relentless Wellness 🤍

Over the years I have had the absolute pleasure and privilege of making cakes for so many beautiful weddings, birthdays, baby showers… the list goes on and on 🤍

I’ve been shocked and blessed to make cakes for business “Dragons”, sports legends, a major Canadian composer (and former house husband), a “Bachelorette” turned undeniable business mogul, and all of their loved ones. But, more importantly I’ve likely made cakes for you! You, my clients and customers who returned to me again and again, are why I have been in business for so many years. I’ll never forget that 🤍

From the opening of my storefront in 2014, to Covid shut downs, to moving out of my store and converting a garage into a commercial kitchen, to now… it’s been full of fun, and laughter, and so many memories 🤍

Thank you to all of the parents, couples, grandparents, spouses, and wedding vendors/friends who have supported this journey along the way with their referrals and orders 🤍 I will miss your faces, but you will still see me around, I promise. 2024 has been a year of huge changes in my life, and I’m excited for the rest of it and what 2025 has to bring 🤍

I will be working on the rest of my weddings through 2024, and the handful that I already have booked for 2025, but will not be taking any new orders from this point onwards. I wish you all the best, and if you need a recommendation, send me a message! We have some amazing talent in the Okanagan!

Non-business related post 💕 As many of you know, in 2017 I started a journey to get my health back. I was very overweight, and subsequently having health problems. And in just over a year I lost 100lbs. And I talked about it publicly, online for @womenshealthmag and @todayshow Then, this summer I was contacted by @apple ! Yes, that Apple. They had seen me talking about how their Watch helped me reach my goals. So they interviewed me. Today, I watched their fall 2019 Keynote announcing the new Apple Watch 5, and there I was!
