As we enter the 2023 season, I know there are so many more moments of adventure + connection + SURPRISE than I can even imagine right now.

Like this June 21st Solstice Elopement day in Revelstoke. We thought we were going up in a helicopter but Mother Nature had other ideas!

Plan B was this epic lookout and even snapped a few shots of me looking into the abyss!

The one thing I can say with certainty about your wedding day is that it will not go to plan. The more you can release your expectations, the more room you make for ✨magic ✨in unexpected forms, like the beauty of this misty lake in June.

The Handfasting Ritual: a way to join your hearts, hands and lives, done by nature lovers and celtic people throughout history. ⁣
⁣
We use three cords represeanting the joining of your two lives, and your marriage, which are tied around your hands to bind you together. ⁣
⁣
We then ask you a series of questions, to which you (hopefully!) respond with "We do". ⁣
⁣
This ritual is a beautiful moment that hits us all right in the feels, and helps the words we speak about the joining of your hearts and lives really sink in on a deeper level. ⁣

Hi Lovebugs!

Spring is in the air and I spent the day deep cleaning my car! This is Greyla (named by my niece) and she is my second home from May - October each year as I travel across BC to officiate weddings (80 last year!)

These pics are from a day of lilac scavenging last May, and I know Greyla will be full of all kinds of things this summer: flowers, benches, rugs + of course all of the tiny things that can make or break your day like sunscreen, safety pins + tide-to-go sticks!

I also always pack a suit because you never know when you might need to jump in a lake! 🌊

I love my life on the road, travelling near + far to celebrate love, and I’m getting so excited for this years ceremonies.

I’ve actually never done an intro before so it felt like time!

💛 This is my 8th year officiating and I’ve married over 350 couples! 💕

💛 I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and it brings me so much joy when q***r couples find me 🏳️‍🌈

💛I got a ski pass this year and now I’m daydreaming about all kinds of ski hill weddings! ⛷️

💛 I own , an elopement package business, which is basically an excuse for me to hang out in the most gorgeous nature spots with my favourite friendors, celebrating couples who value nature + being present as much as we do 🍃

💛 I am a big goof, fascinated by the human mind and love asking random q’s

💛I believe in the power of love and the Universe, and that everyone can access their own personal spirituality if desired

💛After a few pandemic moves, I’m back in Vernon and happy to be home!

I’m so excited to be taking a much-needed break after a very busy season!

2022 has been full of love, and I am so grateful to every one who has trusted me to share their love stories… over 80 of you! 🎉🍾🥳

I am so proud of the team + every one of our vendors who has gone above + beyond to make our couples dreams come true! ☁️🙌🏻💕🚁

This has been a year of change and growth. I’ve pushed myself harder than ever before, dreamed big and trusted in the Universe’s plans for me even when I couldn’t see a clear path forward… and with quite a few twists and turns, it has brought me back to Vernon and back to love.
