SAVE THE STREET PIANO FROM THE DUMP: Now that our beloved Street Piano has made it through three years of music outside, it is no longer playable and it is time for a replacement. While the original Street Piano is no longer functioning as a musical instrument, it is still covered in original artwork and an attractive object, and it would be a shame to send this piece of North Grenville history to the dump.

The piano needs to be moved before the snow and ice arrives, so as soon as possible. Do you have space on your property for a unique sculpture/planter/sound maker? Are you crafty and could turn this piano into something else?

Best way to improve your singing is by joining a choir (unless the choir is terrible, unlike our marvelous Kemptville Male Choir). Seriously, if you've been thinking about taking vocal lessons, save some money and have more fun! You'll be amazed how singing with a group of singers lifts you up, and I mean both your technique and your heart.

Soul Blues Artist Jeff Rogers ends the summer with a blast!

THE SECRET IS OUT!
Secret Art Picnic is taking OVER Anniversary Park in Ferguson Forest!
Meet us for a beautiful, creative picnic art happening in a stunning natural park.
Tomorrow, Sunday August 25th at 11:30 sharp until 1:30.

Parking onsite and nearby. There are two entrances to the Art Picnic - follow the Kinderwood Trail next to the parking lot or follow the road towards the water...

Remember to bring your favourite creative tools or instruments to use throughout the picnic - think: En Plein Air painting & drawing, fibre crafts, a guitar, your dancing scarves, your favourite writing book and pen - or whatever makes your heart sing!

Also bring a picnic lunch, a chair or blanket and a friend!

Activities and creative prompts for adults and children will be available as well as live music by Jesse Greene, animated hosting by Nick Di Gaetano and installations by Susanne Larner!

Guitarist and singerJesse Greene is coming to rock the place with her “no-nonsense blues mix of originals and creative covers." Singing with the "smoky timbre of Bonnie Raitt" and "the wonderful raspiness of Janis Joplin," the Jesse Greene Band won the Ottawa Road to Memphis competition and were finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Jesse brings monster bassist Dave Schroeder and pianist Jesse Whiteley.
