Spring Skiing at KNC
Happy Easter! We have had a wonderful ski season and we thank all of our members, volunteers and staff for their contribution to our nordic community. After five months of grooming, this weekend marks the end of our operating season. This short film, shot at KNC on April 15, 2022, captures one of the last grooming operations of this season and shows that there is still fun to be had out on the trails, and off the trails too!
It has been a great ski season! It feels like spring at KNC and this is the last weekend the kiosk will be open. There is still good coverage and skiing on many trails. Our groomers will continue to groom Meadow, Trapline, Landsem and Spruce into April. We ask that walkers, dogs and bikes wait to access the trails until April 18.
Two years ago KNC hosted the first-ever Nordic Fest. The day was a celebration of cross country skiing unlike anything in recent times. Watch the film from 2020 to get some insight into the fun to be had during our second Nordic Fest on March 12, 2022. Register soon at: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=28503
Special Olympics at KNC
