What a perfect day for our first Castagnata Christmas Market! We had Christmas shoppers flowing from start to finish and sold out of chestnuts in the first hour! Greater Kingston Chorus serenaded us with Christmas Carols and we made a record in freezer sales! We learned lots this year and are definitely considering making this an annual addition to our Castagnata tradition. 🌰 Thank you so much to all of the vendors and volunteers who came out today to make this event a success.

Support local with your Christmas shopping this year by coming to check out the amazing 15 vendors who will be here, including but not limited to the three we're featuring in this photo: Nictinis (handmade whipped tallow skincare products), Rosewood Restorations (reclaimed and salvaged wooden homewares and gifts) and HONIGMANN Apiaries (local honey, beehive products, combs & honey soaps). We were sold out of arancini, but now they're back! Both mushroom and mozzarella 6-packs are available in our freezer for purchase. These delicious risotto balls are perfect as appetizers or late night snacks. (Also great for dipping in our tomato sauce!) It's the perfect time of year to buy them, leading up to Holiday gatherings and potluck parties. Order online for pick-up, or just drop in during office hours. (10am-5pm Tuesday-Friday.)

Our annual Castagnata event is back and better than ever! 🌰 This year we've invited over a dozen local vendors to showcase their products at our first ever Christmas Market from 11am-3pm on Sunday, November 17th. All are welcome to come shop and to join us for freshly roasted chestnuts in the Saletta from 1pm-3pm. (Free to ICC Members. Price of chestnuts to be determined for non-members.) Cash bar will be open, offering a signature Christmas Cocktail, and a complimentary hot chocolate/coffee/tea station will be set-up for anyone to enjoy. We'll also be offering 10% off all frozen food that day! Come socialize, shop, eat, drink and be merry! 🎅
