When it comes to florals at your event, we often wonder, should we use fresh of faux florals. There are so many options but here’s our thoughts for the budget bride.

If using minimal florals in your decor then you may want to opt for something fresh, Costco offers great bulk buying options for simple florals that can go along way with table decor, bouquets, accent pieces and more. Local florists are also a great resource for advice on in season florals that have a higher supply.

If you know that you want cascades of flowers, we recommend using a high quality faux option, they will still look stunning in photos, and can be purchased in bulk from many online outlets. 👋🏻✨ Hiii!! It’s time for a little mini introduction.

I’m Megan Reade, owner and Chief Dream Maker at Megan Reade Events!

Special events have always been a passion of mine, I love working with clients to plan all the little details that an event involves and seeing all the planning come together. There is truly nothing more heart warming than a room full of love, smiles and good vibes!

As a 2023 bride I know that wedding planning can get overwhelming and often we don’t know where to go next. I’m here to help!

But I can’t be planning events all the time? No, I am also a licensed travel counsellor and have been working in travel and tourism for 10 years now!

When I’m not on the go, I love a good cup of tea on a cold rainy day, some reality tv, with my ‘wee man’ Casper the cat curled up next to me.

When we’re not stuck inside my husband Tyler and myself are often off exploring the local area, finding new trails to hike, grabbing a bite to eat at a new local restaurant and even trying out some whacky activities at least once!

We know we’ve all had that awkward interview question “How would your friends describe you?” I like to think my squad says I’m full of love, passionate about my goals or as my dad said in his speech at the wedding “stubborn” when I set my mind to something I will get it done.
