Hoping everyone had a great thanksgiving weekend!! It was good to spend time with family, but, wow, what a horrible sports weekend for me. (Wolverines, Lions, Tigers!!!!)
Not sure if I like sports anymore??? (I even hopped on the blue jays bandwagon for a minute)
Anyways, still looking for a group for an elevated “tailgating “ meal with a twist, at The Woodbridge House in Kingsville on November 21.
To give you a feel for where I might go with this:
A grilled sausage on a bun, with some onions and peppers and mustard would always be a possibility on a normal tailgate.
A possible twist on this might be a steamed bao bun, poached lobster “sausage” with a bit of chorizo mixed in, pickled okra, creole mustard aioli, maybe
some blackened shallots???
