One of the best things is getting to witness a team of happy, giggling women who are just as excited for the bride-to-be as she is. Hacienda Sereda was booked and secured before Raesham even set foot inside. I would say that is a wonderful example of “even through a photo you can fall in love”.
Raesham came for a visit to do some measuring with her girls and the happiness was infectious, there were smiles.. so many smiles, a whole lot of giggles and just wonderful energy. Let the planning begin!

📣 Can we talk about Vendor Trust for a moment. There is so much to be said about a celebration and what makes the experience feel less stressful, less chaotic and more enjoyable.

If you have ever heard the phrase “trust your gut” raise a hand✋.
This is possibly one of the most important “phrases” to live by.

If you feel a good connection with a vendor, it is such a great feeling. One that offers a sense of trust and honesty. Sometimes the vibe just fits and the there is a mutual sense of “likeable”.
However there may be times when you meet and sit or tour with a vendor and the vibe just isn’t clicking. Perhaps you struggle to gain a sense that they care about or enjoy their job, or maybe it is that the personal excitement for you and your vision is lacking.

We say TRUST YOUR GUT… if the vibe is not flowing there are usually reasons for this. Without getting too deep, there is much to be said about personalities that don’t seem to click and that happens… but better to follow your feels, then to embark on a journey with them that never feels quite right.

Read⬇️wise words from an event planner.

READ. YOUR. CONTRACTS.

Contracts are put in place between clients and vendors to protect each party and ensure you are all on the same page.

Make sure you understand the inclusions of your contracts before signing on the line.

Never assume someone is providing a service that has not been outlined and be prepared to pay additional fees for additional services you may require. If you aren’t sure about something…just ask!

Things such as set up & tear down, event start & vacate times, additional fees if any, payment schedule. Any specifics should be outlined in your contracts.

If you find yourself working with a vendor who doesn’t provide a contract, that is likely a red flag. 🚩

When you work closely with an event planner the details can become more clear. You have someone working for you to coordinate a day that runs smooth, checks all the boxes regarding your vendor provisions and more.
An event planner can help take on the usual stresses of big day prep and ease the fog mind of an overwhelmed, likely exhausted and excited couple.

At Hacienda Sereda, we have seen events of couples who have worked with & without an event planner.
Our take away…

Yes, eshoots are a big deal here at Hacienda Sereda. Not only do we love meeting the beautiful couple looking to share some special moments that will be captured through a lens..
It is also the awesome photographers. Getting to know them has been wonderful. We have seen many repeat crews and it is just the best, they know the grounds, the interior and where the most beautiful shots are to be had. It just works!
Friendly, courteous of time and always surprising us with new shot angles and photo ideas.
