While you take a look at my page I thought I might tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Nikki and as you can see from my website, I am a photographer. My passion is photographing and capturing every precious moment life has to offer! A little bit more about myself:

As a little girl I had many dreams, like every little girl in the world! Become a nurse, rock star, princess, teacher or ma

ybe a vet. One was to become a teacher, the other to become a photographer. I recently had a medical setback and was unable to fulfill my dream of teaching, but I am thrilled to say that my photography career has taken off! Working with children always came naturally to me and this is what I did for many years by babysitting, volunteering at schools and being a nanny. I have a natural love and patience for children. I feel as this helps me create a connection with little ones, which allows me to create amazing natural and fun filled images of them. Even though I love working with children I also love working with adults and large groups of people. I love to capture every moment of life, from newborn to maternity, engagement to your special day! I love watching how you transform at a shoot from nervous and giggly to not even noticing I'm there, trusting me and being in your moment. I am honoured and blessed to be asked to capture your life story, from belly to baby to family. It means the world to me to have a continued relationship with my clients and watch your story grow! I will be making a donation to the Cancer Society of Canada for breast cancer research on be half of my mom and others I know that have or had been battling some sort of breast cancer.

Motherhood and Spring Sessions are now booking!

I’m hosting motherhood sessions at the beautiful greenhouse and alpaca farm owned by the lovely team wife homestead in Lynden, Ontario on April 27th. If you’d like photos with the alpacas please keep in mind that only a hand full of families will be booked for photography with them. Please specify whether or not you’d like a session with them.

This year, mothers day is a special one for me. at the beginning of this year my beautiful mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She underwent surgery and is now prepping for treatment. Cancer has touched everyones lives in one way or another. You either have had someone in your family, a friend, a co-worker that has had cancer at one point in your life. A portion of the proceeds of these sessions will be donated to the Cancer Society of Canada.

It’s been a minute since I posted on my socials. I’ve been busy behind the scenes rebranding, editing and dealing with some pretty heavy things in my personal life.

In case you’re new, hi! My name is Nikki and I’m the person behind the camera of Captured by Nikki. If you’re not new to my page well, welcome back!

You may have noticed a name change… at the beginning of 2020 I decided to change my business name to Kallalily Studios, I’ve been in business 10 years and I missed my name in the title of my business, hence the name change to Captured by Nikki.

The name Kallalily comes from the combination of two of my dogs, Kali and Lily. In the summer I added a new furry family member named Harley.

I have a ton of things planned for this year so make sure you’re following my Facebook and Instagram pages so you don’t miss out!

Last session of 2023… I can’t believe I’m saying that! This sweet family joined me for my Christmas sessions and came back to do one final session before nana and poppa went home. This year has flown, I blinked and it was December. See you all next year! 🩵

A good friend of mine is going though a divorce from her partner, we decided to take some photos. This is healing 🖤

Christmas Sessions at The Barn are now booking for November 17th and December 9th between 4:00 and 5:00.

They will be held in a beautiful heritage barn and photos will be back in time for Christmas!

This session includes a 20 minute session, with 5 images (you have the options to purchase more), an online gallery for you to choose your favourites! A photo print release is also included.

Fall and Christmas Vintage Truck Minis will be held on Sunday October 15th from 1:00 pm until 3:00pm in Cambridge, weather permitting. The truck for these minis will be green this year!

If the weather does not cooperate that weekend the photos will be taken the following day.

Spots will be limited!
