It’s easy to become so focused on the grand elements of wedding florals such as the ceremony designs or the bridal bouquet. And while they truly are the most important features of the wedding flowers, we can often overlook the significance of the the smaller arrangements that help tie everything together and create a seamless flow throughout the floral design.

After a wedding season filled with boxes of flower deliveries that make every weekend feel like Christmas, we’re taking a much needed break from seasonal Christmas arrangements this year :)

I took this selfie in September… and I can still feel the rush of excitement after opening each box of flowers, taking in the fragrance, and delighting in each beautiful bloom!

Time to relax and enjoy a slower pace with family during the holiday season, before the planning and designing for 2025 weddings kicks into high gear 🌸💕

We still have some openings left for 2025!

This beautiful autumn wedding took place at Summerhill Winery. Taking into consideration the size of the wooden arch structure, we really wanted to hone in on the focal point by adding softness and intimacy. We emphasized the curve of the pillars to shift attention inward while maintaining an unobstructed view beyond the arch.

Why hire a professional wedding florist?
Weddings don’t always go exactly as planned, (in fact rarely) and as professionals in the industry for over 8 years, we are always prepared to pivot and adapt as necessary. Although the supplied wedding arch was a much different style than what was carefully planned for, with a few on-site tweaks during installation we were able to keep to the original floral design, and still repurpose the large arrangement for the head table. The beginning and end results were beautiful 🙂

It was such a highlight to be able to plan and design the wedding florals, a process which began over 8 months ago. The combination of elegant and timeless elements in the floral design created a cohesiveness with the venue itself, the luxurious Chateau Okanagan in Kelowna…what a thrill to see it all come together!
The heart arch was the culmination of the bride’s ceremony vision, and together with the spectacular backdrop created a beautiful focal point!

And such stunning photos of the bride and groom! ♥️🌸

A truly magical wedding moment! The couple’s dream of capturing their special day on the Infinity Pad came to life beautifully under the arch and umbrellas, despite the rain!

Yes, this gorgeous ranunculus IS fresh! The variety is called chocolate ranunculus, and it’s dyed. When my pink ranunculus I had special ordered were unavailable, it was suggested by my wholesaler I sub with this variety…which were anything but chocolate! 💕

The stems were used for a cascading bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquet… swipe to see!

Absolutely, the initial consult is a crucial step in understanding our client’s preferences and creating floral arrangements that perfectly align with their vision.

Through thoughtful questions, we can extract information about their theme, and what atmosphere or mood they want to create.

Julia and Philip’s beautiful wedding revolved around a garden styled theme, not too polished, encompassing a lot of white garden flowers and greens, with accents of peach and just a hint of lavender. 💕🌸

Some Behind the Scenes of this 20 foot Ombré wall installation….
These luxurious saturated colors were stunning!
We used a chicken wire frame suspended from the 20-foot ceiling and attached it to the wall with command hooks.

The flowers used:

200 stems - white lisianthus
70 stems - white stock
50 stems - spray rose, Ilse Peach
70 stems - peony, Coral Charm
50 stems - peony, Burgundy Charm
50 stems - roses, Pink Floyd
100 stems - spray rose, Majolica
30 bunches- painted Plumosa
30 bunches- painted Eucalyptus
50 stems - baby’s breath, hot pink

Total installation cost including labour: $10,000

2nd last photo: a smaller and less dense version of a hanging installation, a floral wall garland using some of those same beautiful flowers….yes, that’s me :) 💕🌸
