Wedding history 🔍 Why do brides often wear a white wedding gown?

𝙁𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙣!

In the 1840s, Queen Victoria wore a white gown to her obviously very public wedding. Apparently, everyone loved the royals and white wedding dresses instantly became all the rage, and are now the norm!

Wedding tip: cupcakes > cake

A wedding cake is the traditional route but we always see so much cake go to waste! Not as many guests grab a slice as you would think.

We suggest that you go for cupcakes, or even doughnuts for a sweet treat for your guests. You can always get a smaller cutting cake if you still want to get those cute newlywed pics!

Our wedding package includes wine service through dinner! We use local BC Chaberton Estate Winery as our wine for weddings and it never lets us down! Both the red and white are easy-drinking and enjoyed by pretty much everyone!
