FUN FACT I actually called Blossoms today and pretended to order Valentine's flowers for pick up. I video taped the conversation it was unreal. Told me I could not pick up because of covid. They had a shop in the locall area but wouldn't give me a physical address. She kept pushing me to order online. With their fake pictures and sweet but unrealistic prices, I am blown away folks still get caught in this.

They will take your money and then try and farm out the order to get it filled. Giving whom ever takes the order a fraction of the price, if even filling it at all.( many times not getting delivered)

I know I will not be filling any orders from any of these fake places haven't for years. Just seems like I've had to add another couple more to my blocked call list.

We as florists have taken enough of a toll over Covid and competing with grocery stores and now this...Sad to say but there are many of my friends across Canada that have closed their doors this past few years or close to it.

Everyday I am thankful for our community and family of customers that support us here at Flowers on the Fly. 🫶🫶🫶

Today we remember an amazing woman been there done that kinda lady 😉 guess that's where I get that go getter attitude from. My amazing Grandma how much I miss you! Not a day goes by that I don't look at your pictures, smell something that reminds me of you, wear a little something that belonged to you. But mostly the time we spend and countless hours our visits I so miss the most!
This picture is one of my absolute favorites and I have it hung in my office and look daily at it and wonder what you and grandpa are doing? But mostly you both are together again💕

What an amazing Sunday!
Had the pleasure of being part of the Lloydminster 4H Judging competition today. I got to share my love of design through educational presentations to a number of wonderful age groups. This was truly an honor and a wonderful experience to be a part of. Something a little different to learn to judge then beef, equine or grains but I so loved all the questions and interest from both sides.
To be able to teach the why principles and elements of design in the artistry of florals.
