At our first meeting of 2025, outgoing club president Jeff presented the 2024 Tony Award to Treva Murray of Beck Hearing. This award is presented each year to a member who has put forth an outstanding effort as a club member or all-around good community citizen.
Treva was cited for her community work, her dedication to the keeping the Business Club of London present on social media, and her friendly disposition.

The Business Club of London had our AGM last week at Evans and Logan Funeral Homes and enjoyed an amazing holiday meal.

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic year. The current board presented their reports, and we voted for next year's board - details to come in the new year!

Last week, the Business Club of London was treated to a presentation by Shawne, our resident IT specialist and the Technical Services Manager at ManagePoint Technologies Inc.
ManagePoint Technologies provides reliable and accessible managed IT service for companies, providing monthly plans that include security solutions and other extras not found with other IT firms.
Shawne has been a member of BCoL since 2019 and has served two terms on the board, most recently as our membership chair. Several group members rely on him for their networking and IT solutions, and he always receives glowing testimonials on his service and dedication to the club, as well as the community.

The Business Club of London was thrilled to hear from long-time member Dennis of Brydges Roofing last week.

Dennis has been the president of Brydges since he started the company in 1976, and has been a BCoL member since 1978!

We learned about asphalt roofing, metal roofing, proper attic ventilation and the latest advances in roofing materials.

Several members gave glowing testimonials to Brydges' quality and value, and Dennis thanked the club for years of friendship and business relationships.

Thanks for an engaging craft talk, Dennis, and for your years of service in the club!

Our small group of volunteers accomplished a lot during our volunteer opportunity at the London Food Bank yesterday.

We sorted food donations, boxed donations for the floor and packed hampers from the warehouse floor.

It's a great feeling to volunteer at the LFB.❣️

The Business Club of London has been around for a long time, and some of our members have been here since the beginning. Robertson Hall Insurance is one of those companies.

Last week, we heard from long-time member Barry, who has been a broker with the company since 1999. He specializes in providing personal service to his clients for their property and casualty insurance (home, auto and business).

Although Barry wouldn't sing for us, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him better, and appreciate the advice and insight we received in a lively discussion about insurance.

Thanks for your years of service, Barry, and for a fantastic craft talk!

Last week, we heard from Dr. Paul of Chiropractic Health Centre.

Dr. Paul started the centre in 1997 and they have been a member of the BCoL since 2022. He and his team provide chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, custom orthotics, laser therapy, muscle stimulation, ultrasound and massage therapy.

Dr. Paul explained how each patient receives a customized treatment plan, and everyone is treated like family. Several members gave testimonials to the fact that they provide outstanding service and results, and everyone on staff goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible.

Thanks for all of the education, information, and myth-busting!

The Business Club of London had an informative and emotional meeting at Logan Funeral Home last week. Long-time member Dawn represents both Logan and Evans Funeral Homes in London, the longest-standing funeral homes in the area. Logan Funeral Home was established in 1887!
They have been members of BCoL since 1970, and Dawn has been the club's event planner since 2020.
We are grateful for the long-standing membership, generosity, hospitality and support that club members have received from Logan and Evans Funeral Homes, and to Dawn for her years of service on the board.
