With weddings, it’s typically our first time planning so we don’t know what we don’t know.

So, here are a few things I like to chat with my couples about. Some things to consider.

The most important ones are to make sure the videographer/photographer match your personality. Make sure you chat with a few before choosing who to go with. Photographer/videographer will be hanging with you all day so make sure you like them and the way they approach weddings.

Also don’t sweat the small stuff. Plan what you can, but day of, you simply enjoy the fact you’re getting married and get to party with all your loved ones.

No one will care if some details are missing or schedule is off (because it likely will be). Guests just wanna party with you.

And finally, with video, make sure you get messages from family and friends! I like to do it for my couples, but if your videographer doesn’t, get your wedding party to interview people or get some clips so you can always edit it together later.

I think hearing from family is such a sweet and important moment to have.

Nat & Liam 🧡

These two were absolute beauts with such a loving family. Amazing energy that day and I always cater my edits to the personality of my couples. I try to find funny moments to keep the video light.

In this case, Liam forgot his vows making him wait for the slowest elevator and I totally thought Nat’s veil was a goner.

Welp, enjoy. :)

Last call for our shoot and learn workshop this Saturday and we wanted to introduce the amazing models we have coming.

With the variety of models/scenes, this workshop would benefit wedding shooters or those who enjoy portraiture.

And since we have the nice cameras, let’s learn to shoot video with it as well. For your own content, to add another service — all to help you make money with your camera.

And to wrap it up, we’ll have food, beers and just hang out as we edit content from the day.

We truly want our attendees to walk away learning some new tangible skills and making new friends.

Oh, and as a bonus, each attendee is getting an hour rental at the studio, branding photo session and Peak Design camera strap.
