They're sisters and started the company because of their shared passion for food, Sam's skill in the kitchen, how much fun they have preparing each meal and how catering is all in the details. A few weeks ago we had the privilege to cater for a wicked family. We designed a menu for them with bold flavours to capture their big personalities. Feeding people and being part of a gathering of people who love and care for one another is why we love this work so much. In a time where gathering carries so much weight; who you gather with, where and how it happens, the fact that we can play a small part in it makes it all the more special.

Cooking for fun this past weekend and learned some new things and techniques. I felt so thrilled and privileged to be part of creating such an elevated and complex meal. There were 8 courses in total, a few that I forgot to capture. I wish I could say I had any part in creating the menu but that was done by the expert. It’s so exciting to be around someone with so much passion and experience; so willing to share their time, knowledge and resources. What a fun weekend!

If there’s one thing I could eat every day for the rest of my life it would be this chai donut from . I think I may have a slight obsession with tea flavoured desserts. I digress, if you are ever in Toronto and want to try the most delicious donuts do yourself a favour and go to Bloomers.
