Alright here's my first pro-tip. Plants that have been grown in shade or living inside box stores and plant shops can NOT go directly outside in the burning hot sun. They must be acclimatized by being introduced gradually. Start by a few hours a day. Please do not purchase plants from stores and try to return them a week later saying they aren't doing well when you have either left them in your car or put them outside. This hurts our feelings and our plants. 🌿👀

While I didn't dry this bridal bouquet, I certainly had no troubles finding a creative way to create an heirloom for the bride to treasure always. The Muslin wrap along the bottom and silk ribbons outside were the original wrap on her wedding day. I'm loving all of these custom projects. 🙏

When I took over sole ownership of the shop in the fall I didn't have a lot of brain capacity to think about planning Christmas which is a really big deal in the retail world. I wasn't sure what it would be like since this business was originally planned on a partnership. I have to say... my heart is so full tonight as I stand here under the twinkle of lights getting ready to close up. This month has been incredible and I'm so thankful for everyone that has supported me. From all the wonderful people that love the store, suppliers, my vendors who trust us to sell their art and handmade creations, my staff who are the greatest team I could've asked for and my friends and family who always cheer me on. This weekend was pure magic and was everything a small business could've asked for. I think I can finally put to rest all the fears and doubts and reservations that have been bothering me for the last few months and just embrace the wonder. So thanks for that... you all make a once super sad girl really really happy.

Many years ago when I first started working with florals before really knowing what I was doing, Kelly and Brandon trusted me to create their wedding flowers. This past weekend, I created this bouquet for one of Kelly's friends as a surprise on her wedding day. Katie was planning on getting married without flowers and we can't have that. Over the years we have all supported each others businesses on many different occasions. That is what community and supporting local is all about my friends. A pleasure to have been able to be part of another very special day. ❤
